Yamaha G29/Drive 2007-Up Golf Cart 48 Volt 17 Amp DPI Charger with Relay

Bought this back the end of August received it September 1st and here it is the beginning of February just 5 months later it stops working. I took amazing care of it never left it outside other than to charge while protected from elements. Called manufacturer for trouble shooting and figured out it is the unit. For $300 I would have expected out to live longer than 5 short months!

Warranty for 36 months. Quit working after 38 months. Circuit board quit. Not worth it.

Not bad stays on trickle instead of shutting off when completed with the cycle. Gets extremely hot while in use so becareful. Dont use it without reading instructions its preset to charge trojan batteries easy to change to different types since they all have a different charging algorithm.

Amazing, so happy cuz it's made in the USA 🇺🇸 and so much cheaper than replacing with a Yamaha factory charger, now we're fast and furious crazy golf cart drivers again yay

Had to replace our old factory charger. So far used it 6 times and charges fine. It is pretty heavy though. Charges a little slower than factory charger. Has lights on it to tell the charge on the battery.

We obtained the charger in November 2016. It was attached to our golf cart in November when we stored it for the winter. Upon taking the cart out of storage in May we discovered that the charger had failed and one or more of our batteries were no longer working and will probably need replacing.We are now interested in replacing the charger under warranty but are having difficulty finding information on the seller.

My Yamaha charger for my Yamaha Golf Car was not showing fully charged about half the time when charged overnight. The dealer told me that unless them cable was bad they were not repairable. Sometime it showed flashing red, which is not good. I bought the cart and charger used 3 years ago from the dealer and they were now 5 years old. The dealer told me that a replacement charger was about $600. The new charger is great. It works fine at about half the price. I've had the unit a few months now and it performs perfectly.
