I rely on reviews for making many of my purchases on Amazon. (I've been getting a little skeptical about authenticity in the past few years.)None the less, I'm going back and reviewing items I've purchased over the past 15 years. I'm reviewing items that I loved and hated. (I'm leaving the middle of the road opinions for others. ) I rely on reviews, so I felt I should help others with decisions, if possible.I purchased these canisters in 2013, when my boys were over 20 and somewhat less heavy handed. So the canisters are now 9 yrs old.My decor leans towards french-country cottage. I have never stopped appreciating the looks of the canisters on my counter in 9 years. My kitchen is small and these are quite large but I'm ok with that. Things may come and things may go, but my canisters will stay. Not one of them has a chip. I hand wash them. I use the large one for a cookie jar, the medium one for coffee and the small one for sugar.I recall when I first received them I wasn't over the moon on the paint technique (I was sure I could have done a better job) but in time I have become less critical of that point. I have never regretted the purchase.

They are absolutely beautiful and very large and I love that the lid has a handle on it. Lovely canister set I was looking for a bigger sized ones. Most of them are so small.

I am very pleased with the canister set. It is so pretty and exceeded my expectations. I love that the canisters are bigger and hold more. Like some other people whose reviews I read, one of my canisters was broken when I received it. Amazon quickly replaced my set and it arrived unbroken. I noticed that the boxes the canisters were shipped in were very flimsy and you could punch holes in them with your finger. Even though I had to deal with broken pieces I would definitely order this set again.

These are so beautiful! If you enjoy antique florals, french baroque acanthus style designs, you'll appreciate these. They're ceramic, so I wouldn't recommend if you want something you can bang up or be rough with. Not kid friendly, but the kid in me adores these! They're perfect for shabby chic, farmhouse, and cottagecore decor.I keep my chia and flax seeds and protein powders in them. The seal is really good - be careful when removing the lid because it has some strong suction and the handle is little - easy to drop if you're not prepared. They keep moisture out, which is exactly what I needed.

I placed an order and while waiting I saw the exact set in Stein Mart for $20 more than I had paid and it was supposedly marked down. I was excited over my purchase. I bought a used set and while the box was not in pristine condition, my canisters were just perfect! I just love them! I love their color, size (large enough to fit flour, sugar and coffee) and design. I looked at hundreds of canister sets before I ordered these. They blend in with all that I have...Buy them - you will NOT be disappointed!!
