Ink that works
We have an Epson large format printer. The reason I like the DURABrite ink is that it is pigment based ink and is waterproof. This is a must as my wife prints and publishes her own music books and the ink has to be permanent. The 252XL cartridges are a better buy as the ink does last much longer. Now if you print a ton of copies or print outs, then of course your ink will run out faster. Just as your car will run out of gas faster the more you drive and the farther you go. It's just common sense. When the ink is out it is completely drained from the cartridge. These cartridges do hold more ink than the new Canon or HP inks. They work great and are factory originals that I can trust.

Epson OEM Ink
I've tried several different brands of ink that are advertised as being compatible with Epson inkjet printers, none of which have performed as well as the original Epson brand. I have also tried several remanufactured brands only to have them clog up or leak ink into the printer, even going so far as to damage one printer so badly it had to be replaced. These off brands are certainly cheaper than the Epson OEM ink cartridges, and many users may find them acceptable because of the price. I do not. I willingly pay the higher price for the reliability and quality of the Epson brand. It's certainly cheaper than replacing a printer.

Prints Look Great, and These Cartridges Truly Are High Capacity
I'm no expert, but I find that Epson DURABrite Ultra ink yields print quality at least as good as what you get from nicer Canon and HP inkjet printers. But the capacity of these cartridges is what really stands out. As of this writing, my Epson WorkForce WF-3640 has printed 901 color pages since I bought it in February, 2016. My guess is that the first 300 of those were printed with the 252-I yellow cartridge that came with the printer, and the other 600 or so were printed with the 252XL yellow cartridge that replaced the initial cartridge in June, 2016. According to the printer's ink monitor, the yellow cartridge is still more than 3/4 full. Impressive!

Decent price, Effective Printing
Despite the price being WAY too much, I only ever buy the XL cartridges only for the fact of having more time to print.

It's OEM
Works like it oughta, Epson makes good stuff. One of these lasts me about a year, I don't print a whole lot.

Lots more ink
This XL version has roughly 3 times as much ink as the regular cartridges. That more than makes up for the higher price for us.

Good color, high price
These cartridges are quite pricey and don't have a long life time. I use this printer heavily at one of the places I work, and I am forever running out of ink. I'm not one that generally trusts off-brand or refills, so it tends to get costly to use. The color is great, but the price needs to come down.
