LED License Plate Light Bulb for Volkswagen VW Golf 4 5 6 GTI MK4 MK5 MA294

I’m very picky when it comes to what I like. I don’t settle with something just because it’s ok and works decent. So with that being said these lights are incredible. I’ve replaced all of our family vehicles license plate lights with LED. I opted for this style instead of the bulbs for the price. The LED bulbs that are used for the stock housings seem to be very expensive.I purchased these and I’m very happy with them. They are very bright and might actually be too bright! But I am still going to keepthem because a good quality LED is better than a bad quality one.Con-There are no instructions on how to hook them up. For me it was very easy. You can figure out where the wires get plugged in very easy. I know most of the people might find the connections difficult but there are videos on you tube if you need them.

Super bright. Most folks love how bright LEDs are. I prefer the crisp white color vs brightness. These were perfect color, but I ended up using some black vinyl to block out some of that light and not look like a rolling billboard at night. I expected that and it’s a very simple modification. These get 5 *s. They do come with a resistor so the bulb out light is not present on the dash and it works perfectly. If your lights don’t go on, just flip the connector and turn your lights back on and they should work. But my take, the resistors don’t heat up much so you should be ok just clipping the lights in and letting the resistors sit inside the light/bumper. DO YOUR OWN TEST TO MAKE SURE!!!!

These license plate light are extremely bright and look very well on my VW Rabbit 2008. The only issue was , one of the wire coming from the resistor entering in the clip that connect with the light was lose. So, I had to taped it to keep it tight. I would recomed using a 3M tape to attach the resistor to the bumper, like I did to secure it against movement.

These license plate LEDs are a game-changer! The installation is a breeze with the plug-and-play design, and the brightness outshines my expectations. They're so easy to install, they're brighter than my future!

Bought a set and never got around to installing so I gave them to a buddy with a mk6 golf. They plugged right in and were extremely bright. I then ordered another set for my mk4 golf. They were plug and play and fit right into the stock housing. They are bright enough that they help me back up at night. They are more of a soft white so 5500k. They have lasted about 3 months so far and hope they continue to last.

This product, unless I misread was listed to fit Volkswagen however there would need to be modifications involving cutting factory metal to get these to fit not gonna happen...... I did test them before I realized they would not fit just to see how bright they were. They were exponentially brighter than the factory halogen and quite a bit brighter than another LED that I put in.

Very bright, was a simple plug and play. Fit snug and had no error lights on my ‘13 GTI.Would suggest some sort of glue/tape as it has a ballast or something that kind of just dangles otherwise.

So I only give it a 3/5 because the wiring kind of sucked. Everything was a quick connect and worked great but the connectors were so cheap if you pushed too hard the pins would come out of the plug.I used hot glue on all the wires to keep them from coming out during install.Aside from that they're really bright.
