Hi - bought 2 hinges - great value and very sturdy . Super easy install much better the what the fence company put in !! Nice finish and very strong to close the gate !!!I needed a little help with a hardware ? They got back to me same day and resolved my ?I highly recommend them and will buy for other pool gate .

The hinges seem very well made and have some heaviness to them. I bought them for a deck gate but these were way to bulky and heavy for what I was using it on. I would say these are meant for a yard gate that’s much bigger

These hinges are good looking, sturdy, and easy to install. They are adjustable to allow the door to hang just right, and to close with just the right amount of pressure.

used for a wooden gate, made from heavy old redwood. the hinges are adjustable. the screws for wood should have been a bit more substantial. We used better screws. hinges look good=would buy again...but hope they last a long time in the Pacific Northwest.

The hinges seemed lighter gauge metal than similar hinges I have used in the past. There was a radius on the inside bend of the hinge mount which would require a chamfer on the post and gate for a flush fit. the tube on the adjusting bolt was 1/4" to short needing washer to make up the difference ( not shown in pictures) compressive force on the tube keep the adjusting bolts from loosening. Each hinge required the gate to be trimmed down by 1/2" . this is a double hung gate to each side needed to be trimmed down by 1/2". Hinge clearance is not in the instructions. the 1" wood screws provided did not have enough bight strength to hold up the gate, as well two bolts sheared off heads during installation and five bolts would not tighten. I replaced 1" light duty screws with 2" long 1/4" lag bolts estimated 50Lbs per gate side. holes had to be drilled in the mounting plates to offset the mounting holes. the original mounting holes lined up with the pickets frame joint.

These replaced old ones on vinyl gate. Works perfect.
