My husband purchased this for me as a gift at Christmas time and it absolutely amazing. I know that might sound a bit dramatic but it is the truth. I am mixed with black and white and have been blessed with incredibly curly and thick long hair. I have never straightened my hair on the regular basis (would usually go to get it professionally done if anything at all) because of the poor job my other straighteners would do (and I have had many). * Side note: The first time that I ever went and got my hair professionally done all the people in the building verbally praised/applauded my beautician because they thought it was a miracle that she got my hair to be straight.This flat iron makes my hair look amazing and smooth. This is the one, hands down.

When I unboxed this item, I thought it was going to be a pretty awesome flat iron. Then all the little things started to show. The plates are standard size but, I am used to is extra long so personal preference there but, then I heated it up. The plates were sticky and they were grabbing my hair as I tried to pull it through. The plates seemed not to be heating evenly which was frustrating. I have returned this and am still on the hunt for another flat iron.

Very worth the price. My hair is very difficult to work with and barely holds anything when I try to style. My hair stays straightened all day after using this. It also heats up quickly.

I own one of these that I got from TJMAXX but my aunt wanted one. Made for a perfect birthday gift! This thing really does straighten hair without pulling.

I have had this about a month or so now and it’s awful. I used it about 5 times, I have normal hair, and now it shuts off the minute it hits my hair. It’s useless. Such a waste of money.

Did not get hot and squeked when I clamped together to use on my hair. Will be sticking to Babyliss.

I bought this not too long ago and already it has stopped working. The heat adjusts all by itself to the highest setting and then it crackles and turns off. Now I can’t return it as it says the cutoff return period was February. I paid a high sum for this and I’m very disappointed.

I like the style and comfort of it!

This flat iron is lightweight!!Gets hot fast and works amazing for straightening and curling!! I love it!!

Only thing I don’t like is that the heat can’t go lower.
