IHOME WIRELESS BLUETOOTH STEREO SPEAKER

I don't use it for an alarm clock, so can't say anything about that functionality. What I do use it for is to be a clock in my bathroom. The display is bright and I can still see it even with the bright bathroom light strip on. The FM radio works great! Best reception I've had out of a radio in this bathroom which is in the basement. I also use the bluetooth speaker for both streaming music and listening to audiobooks. Sound level is plenty loud enough even while I'm in the shower. The controls are easy to use even by feel which is nice because I have it on a higher shelf and can't see the top without taking it down. Switches easily from FM to BT and back and pairing to my cell phone was a breeze. Again, works great as a bathroom clock radio and BT speaker.

I got this clock radio. I love it! It actually plays my favorite radio stations inside my house. My old clock radio did not have the ability to play my radio stations inside my house. I have used the blue tooth to play music and talk on the phone. Callers on other end said the connection was a little sketchy during the phone call. Music comes through great across blue tooth. I do wish the light for the clock lighted display could dim a little more. But I can turn the light off if I want. I really like how there are two alarms. I can set one for weekdays and the other for weekends. That way I don’t have to switch the wake time during the weekends.Update August 2020: I still love this clock radio.

I love this speaker, it gets loud and has good bass. It is awesome to have in the bathroom and can also be lowered for early mornings. The clock and lighting on display are perfect. I have had for a couple months and 3-4x it has done weird things like go static crazy when turned on, won't connect to phone or buzz. I was able to unplug and plug in after a minute and it reset itself. I will also say that sometimes it doesn't always have the memory of the phones it has previously connected to, so sometimes have to pair again.

I have an older version and wanted one for my craft room to listen to music, plug my phone into, and be able to put my calls on my phone, working on crafts while talking through the bluetooth speaker. This does not disappoint! The only thing I would say is I would have liked more than four presets. I don't use the alarm but did set it unintentionally and it works fine with a really nice tone.

I had no idea when my Philips clock radio finally died after 19 years of faithful service that it would be so hard to find a replacement. I bought and returned a couple - one for a comically weak alarm, one for no five-day alarm. I guess as more people rely on phone alarms, companies aren’t putting much into clock radios. But I get up early on a weekday schedule, so I need a reliable alarm.What works ok:5-7-2 day alarmDual alarms with alarm volume adjustment and different alarms for each.Radio preset works.I guess daylight savings will work ok, since you set the date including year when setting up the clock.Not so great:Meager selection of alarm tones - it has some twee little phone tones but why not have a beeper?Annoying to read with the fabric covering the display.Sound is so-so. Clock is smaller than I expected, I should have looked at the dimensions.Lowest brightness is still too bright (and off is off).Wall-wart power adapter forced me to get an extension cord because I ran out of available outlets.YOU CAN’T DISABLE THE ALARMS. Meaning, for holidays or off days, I see no way to turn off the alarms the night before. I guess I could switch them to the weekend schedule, and switch them back before the weekend, but why not just be able to turn them off?I don’t see any better options so I guess I’ll keep it but it’s nothing I’d recommend.

Has a good quality speaker for a clock, nice for listening to music in the bedroom. Clock is nice and bright and big enough to see without being obnoxious.

I ordered this clock to replace a very old ihome that had serviced me for years. When it arrived, I was busy and it sat in the box for over a month, well past the return date. After setting up the clock, my first thought was how do you clean it since it is completely covered in cloth. Little did I know, I wouldn’t ever have to clean it. I set the alarm and went to bed. Woke up an hour late and no alarm. Thought it was probably my error, so read the instructions and the next morning it worked. However, it only worked about half the time. Some days yes and some days no.The clock was extremely bright, so I dimmed it. The next day it was bright again, but could never be dimmed again. The buttons just didn’t work. However, I continued to use the clock, setting my alarm on my phone as a backup. Then one day, one of the lcd crystals just went dark leaving an incomplete digit. About the same time, the alarm quit altogether. All of this happened within the first 2 months.All in all, I would not recommend this particular ihome clock. Other models might be fine, my last one was.

I like the look of the clock, and appreciated that it doesn't take up much room on my bedside table, but that's where the positives end. After only a couple of months, the LED lines began to fail. I am now missing 3 in various places. The light is also very bright and even on the lowest setting still completely lights up the room. I wish I'd read the reviews, as these seem to be very common experiences. Very disappointing.

Nice look, easy to use. Bluetooth works great and the sound is decent. Good features like the charging port and the speaker so you can use your phone through it.

Bedroom sound, buyer will enjoy it if he or she can take time to read the manual before use

Sound is great for its size. Clock is readable from the other room. Use mostly the bluetooth connection. Overall happy.
