Easy to apply and colors are true to samples
This was the first time I dipped my nails. I was a regular at the nail salon getting gel manicures. However since COVID... well you all know. So I tried this product. I’d say it’s pretty good. Instructions are easy to follow. They do have lots of tips to preventing the base and top coat (purchased separately, same brand) from getting too tacky and stuck. There is a full set that is for beginners and has the base, activator, and top coat together. I liked this one because of the variety of colors. It is easy to do, just read the instructions and follow the tips. My only complaint and it might be user error, I just can’t get that shine like the nail salons do. I put the top coat on and when it’s wet, it looks good but when it dries, it’s a little dull. I got a separate top coat nail polish from OPI and that helped. Other than that, the colors are true when you put them on. I dip twice no more than 3 xs and get good results. i would recommend this product. Pretty good for a first tip dipper =)Update:I received instructions on how to bring out the shine from the company. It has gotten better. I think I just need more practice. Overall, very pleased with this product. Lasts about 2-3 weeks. I use my hands a lot and always washing. Probably would last longer with less wear on the hands

Good Dipping Powder Kit for Beginners!
I didn't really know where to begin when it came to using nail dip powder, I just knew I was excited to try it because 1) I could do it at home on my own time and without having to spend crazy amounts of money every two weeks (not to mention we have been on "lockdown" anyway), 2) I cannot stand using acrylic on my nails, and 3) I've had my nails done before where all the tech used was powder like this, and I was shocked at how superior it was compared to acrylic. There's no nail polish involved that can easily chip. After searching for products with good reviews for a decent price, I came upon this nail kit. It comes with everything needed (except for : base coat, activator and top coat. Be sure to purchase these items or you'll be out of luck while you wait for another shipment with these items). And, not only does it come with dipping powder, it comes with TEN different colors! I've been able to mix and match and even do french manicures.Using nail powder is easy, saves you money and is a lot of fun. I was able to use this kit right away and honestly felt like I had the hang of it after only using it one time.I would purchase products from this seller again definitely!

Surprisingly Easy and Long Lasting!
This was the first time I've ever done dip nails for myself, usually I go to a nail salon and have the pros do it! There was a little bit of a learning curve, but I think that was mainly me moving through each of the steps a little too fast (I get impatient). By the second time I did my nails, I had them all pretty much salon perfect and dry within an hour from start to finish. As someone who has struggled for years to master normal nail polish only to still have it begin chipping within a day if not a few hours, this product is amazing! I have at it on for almost two weeks at a time without it chipping at all. I wash my hands with a lot hot water and use a lot of hand sanitizer (more than ever with COVID) so I never expect any nail polish to last as long as advertised but I was happily surprised with how long it has lasted. I think, if was doing something less active then packing and moving this product would last even longer on my nails. I definitely recommend it for the price, especially because you get so many colors and, although they are small jars, each one will last for several nail jobs.

Pros & Cons
I'll start with the pros:1) It's a value for the price - considering you get a variety of colors2) The powder itself is very good quality (based on having my nails done professionally and knowing when 'bad powder' is used)3) It's compact and comes with a very good brush to sweep the powder upHere are the drawbacks in my opinion:1) it doesn't come with any of the polishes (those are sold separately for an extra $20) which is a drawback if you're not paying attention like I wasn't2) The jars are SUPER small and shiny plastic and SO hard to hold onto that the powder flies everywhere so you end up losing a ton of powder - suggest putting it on a sheet of paper so that you can at least fold the paper and pour some back into the container3) I feel like there was a step missing in the directions after you put the activator on and then buff your nails out prior to putting on your top coat. You should put ANOTHER coat of activator on or the top coat will not adhere properly. I did buff the crap out of my nails though4) Jars are not labeled w/colors so you kind of have to guess which color works out best for "clear"It took me several hours to do my first nail dips but I was also working with tips so extra hard stuff. I feel like they came out pretty nice for my first time so overall the system works.. excuse the dry hands and cuticles - quarantine did a number on my skin in general..

Life changer! No more nail appointments!
This is my first Dipping Powder Nail Starter Kit purchase. I was a little skeptical at first because the price was so good. However after reading the reviews I went ahead and made my purchase. It arrived fairly quickly considering a lot of other nail powder products will taking 30 days plus to arrive. When it arrived I was a little disappointed that there was no base coat, activator or brush saver with the kit, however when I went back to look at the ad I did notice that it was not included and that had to be purchased separately. I did so right away and it arrived within a few days. The instructions were very simple to follow. Everything went according to plan and I did notice very quickly that multiple thinner coats gives the best results. Another tip is to make sure that you thoroughly prepare your cuticles before applying your basecoat. This will give you more area to work with and make your finished powder product last much longer. The picture below is my second attempt and they still look the same after nine days. I recommend shaping your nails prior to applying first base coat as well as purchasing a multi surface filing board, for smoothing and buffing your finished nail, before you apply your top coat.
