Great Product!
I was nervous about giving any type of mood altering snacks to my 3 dogs - I came across these at Petsmart right before they switched to a different product line (BOO!) - I was dropping my dogs at the PetHotel and they were very stressed because it is not often that they are away from me - A few of these little snacks and they mellowed out. -- Now I order them through Amazon b/c Petsmart no longer carries them. I work from home and there are some days that my youngest dog is pretty hyper. I cannot have that while I am working b/c I am speaking to clients over the phone and they are not to know that I am not actually sitting in the corporate office -- on extra hyper mornings I will give him a could of these and after a few minutes he has settled down -- they also work great with the anxiety that my dogs get during monsoon season.I recommend these items to anyone who has a dog who is usually pretty mellow, but needs a little assistance during stressful situations. I wish that Petsmart still carried them and not the GNC product line that they now carry.

Really helped my dog
I needed something to calm my dog so I could cut his nails. He's a spoiled 85 lb Lab. These have been now Lab tested for me and worked great. I recommend giving them about 35 minutes to kick in before see how your dog reacts. My dog can be a brat. This really helped. Note this does not knock your dog out. Just helps with anxiety and stressful situations. Like going to the Vet. Wishing the best for my animal lover friends.

Sorta worms
It does not calm my boxador down during the day but it does help a very little with car rides and I give her some regularly at night to help with separation anxiety and it seems to work very well at night because she does not bark or whine anymore when putting her in her bed for the night

Did not work for my four month old toy poodle
Did not help my 4 month old toy poodle. I was so sure from the reviews this would be her lifesaver for car rides. I gave her the appropriate amount 30 minutes before leaving. When we left she was in her crate and she not only whined she screamed loudly. After being on the road for 30 minutes I gave her another dosage. Shortly after giving the second time she became quiet. I could not see her while driving so stopped 30 minutes later and she had not only vomited her food she had eaten 4 hours earlier but had the heaves. Her mouth was dripping wet and although she had stayed out of her vomit both her muzzle and her front legs were soaked from her heaves. Definitely not for my little girl.Had this product worked at the price it would have been a jewel. The container is nice and the product in cute bone shapes with clear instructions as to dosage to give and the not to exceed amounts. The container was sealed extremely well so it was easy to tell the product was new and unused.

Works For Our Big Fraidy-Cat. I Mean Dog!
So we have a wonderful 84-pound loving big dog. He's the love of our lives. His down-side is that he's spooked by many things. Sometimes it's a thing, sometimes it's a sound, sometimes it's a reflection, and sometimes it's nothing. We never know just what might flip him out, even though it may be just momentary. Some time ago, he, for some reason unknown to us, got OVERLY excited while riding in the back seat of our car. This scenario was not unfamiliar to him, nor had anything occurred that should trigger this response. Because of the high level (that's an understatement) of his anxiety, we stopped at the next exit to a famous pet supplier. Thank God it was nearby. Our boy was so anxious that he refused to accept these tasty 'cookies' - something he's never done with any cookie, ever. Being the good parents that we are, we did what any loving parent would do with their furry temper-tantrum friend...we calmly pushed a few of these tidbits down his throat, one at a time, according to the recommended dosage on the label. Now don't get me wrong...these are not a miracle drug. They don't calm your dog to the same laid-back level as Jimmy Buffet, strumming his 6-string with a margarita by his side! That said, these did have our big baby calmed down to a manageable level within about 15 miles or so. Since that time, we use them whenever he's gearing up for an activity we know might be unsettling to him. And each time they do calm him to a tolerable level. But beware! There is an imposter! The next time we stopped at that same famous pet supplier, they no longer carried this exact product. Though the NAME was the same, it is spelled differently. It's spelled Pet EZE by the company named 21st Century. When I compared it with this product, it was a totally different manufacturer. Sneaky! So be sure you're purchasing Pet-Ease and that the packaging looks like this.Fido will thank you.

Great way to ease stressful situations
The dogs think of these as a treat which is great because they like them. I have no problem giving these to the dogs.I saw other reviews saying the dogs wont take them but mine do with ease. Our one dog is terrified of loud noises and I bought these because of the inconsiderate neighbors who feel fireworks are to be used through out the year and all summer long! It terrifies him as does thunder storms. It is so hard to see him so stressed out, so I thought why not try these! I am so happy I did! These definitely help him through the fireworks and thunderstorms. I give them to him any time there is a stressful situation now. He is a rescue and he has issues with loud noises. He is the most loving dog and very protective, you would never know how noises bother him! The fireworks this year were really bad and he actually was able to lay with me without shaking or being so scared. he still noticed them but there is a remarkable difference in him when he takes these. I use them now for the thunderstorms as well and am sure to use them if we have to go out and he must stay home. He is high strung to begin with so it is even harder. I am hoping with the aid of these I will be able to get him more used to loud noises. I do follow the label instructions for him and it works. I am so happy to have found this product!
