The new formula and new tubes are a rip-off
I’ve bought this 4 times. The first two tubes were magic! Easy to use, and really helped my cat. The gel was a light paste, almost white, soft and came out of the tube easily. The next tube looked different. Ok, I thought, new packaging, should be fine. Except I thought I would never get the gel coming out of the tube. After squeezing as hard as I could I found the gel to be dark brown and very thick and hard. I asked for a replacement and they sent me THE SAME stuff. Only I can’t get ANY of the brown stuff to even come out, using both hands to squeeze as hard as I possibly can. So now they want me to last tube because I asked for a refund. What’s the point of replacing a defective tube (and don’t forget the actual gel isn’t right anyway) if they’re going to replace it with another defective tube? I don’t know if these are really old or they have indeed changed the formula but I’m not feeding them to my cat. I’d have to split the tube with a samurai knife to get any out. Meanwhile I no longer have a good calming gel for my cat. Picture: the good tube and formula is on the left and the crummy one is on the right, the turquoise tube.

UPDATE: ZERO STARS from Can I give this 6 stars? T It’s a game changer.
UPDATE: This was a reoccurring order (every six weeks). This last order was different. The new packaging looks cool but the new formula sucks! Hard and thick not like the old formula that was soft and creamy. It will not stick to a paw. And Orbit will not eat it. I used the original formula to help with idiopathic cystitis and he loved it so much that I used it to train him how to sit on command, give paw, roll over, come when he’s called and more. He won’t touch the new formula… runs in the opposite direction when I offer it to him. I’m returning it and cancelling my subscription. This is now a reoccurring order for our sweet Orbit. Originally I purchased this after tradition treatment for idiopathic cystitis didn’t work. I chose this product after a lot of research on how feline idiopathic cystitis is caused by stress. Poor Orbit was apparently stressed by the construction and renovating I’m doing on our house. This was part of a holistic approach I discussed with my vet. After four days of natural remedies, Orbit’s condition was resolved and he seemed to really enjoy this “treat”.I initially followed the directions and put it on his paw. After the cystitis cleared up, I realized this product not only calmed his anxiety but he would also do tricks for it.It has become a tool that I use for teaching him to do tricks. It is a reward for him.I add a little pea-sized drop to the slurry he gets in the morning with his homeopathic urinary support and grain-free food. He just loves this and since we started using it with homeopathy, he hasn’t had another instance of blood in his urine in 6 months.Obviously this isn’t a treatment for FIC but I think it definitely helps with calming the anxiety that exacerbated the condition. As a certified aromatherapist I like that it contains a veterinarian-formulated blend of herbs and essential oils including chamomile, Passion flower, and cat nip.

Works good on my cat
Only a small ammount usually works on my domestic shorthair. We have two small cats and when they get a bit rowdy they also get aggressive. Not unusual for cats, but this tastey treat settles them down perfectly about 90% of the time. Only a small amount does the trick. Doesn't make either kitty sleepy, off balance, or lethargic at all. I also use it to relax my little guys before a road trip. Works like a charm!

Highly recommend. Medicinal value and helps with grooming. Love it.
I bought this almost a year ago for my cats and left a product review a few days after i got it saying I was 50/50 about it and gave it three stars. I didn't remember i had left that review until I decided I wanted to leave a detailed review about it. I am so glad I came back and have deleted that review!! I'd leave six or more stars if I could. At this point this product has come in clutch when I really needed it twice.Back in November my cats had very bad upset stomach and I couldn't figure out what was going on. After four days of them being sick they were looking skinny even, and I was worried. I gave them this paste, just a fingertip of it right in their two front teeth twice a day for three days until they got over the stomach problem. It was all they could digest and it brought them around. I swear I was so happy I had bought it. I had used it a few times on their paws but it didn't become a habit. I had it put up in their treats box and when I was at my wits end about this upset stomach problem I started to think, this stuff has a few nutrients in it that will probably relieve this enough for them to be able to finally get a decent meal and it did. I also realized also that the new seaweed blend food in had bought was not agreeing with them, and googling it i found out that seaweed is so high fiber a lot of animals can't eat it.Then a few days ago I needed to clip their nails. I have six cats. It takes me all day to wrangle them and get this done usually, I have to use gloves and some not them have to go into a grooming bag so they don't hurt me or them. But then I remembered I have this stuff and since its marketed for calming I decided I'd try it for getting the nails clipped. They were so chill. I'm astonished. I gave it to them and within an hour had all nails clipped. I don't know why I haven't done this before.I'm keeping this in the house for emergency purposes seriously, its just too handy. I need all the help I can get when it comes to these nails getting clipped lolHighly recommend. If you've got a cat that just won't tolerate you doing things you need to do for them especially for grooming try this. If you've got a cat with a finicky stomach try this.I will add though that my cats didn't really like it being on their paws, they obviously didn't care for how it felt on them but when they realized it was edible they'd start licking then lick themselves to sleep. That's why I left the I'm 50/50 about it review. They seemed irritated by it. I don't do that anymore, just dab some right in their mouth. Soothing chamomile for the win!!

Product as described
Exactly as described but my cats don’t seem to care for the flavour unfortunately so I can’t comment on its effectiveness

Just a waist of money
My cat did not even like this. Did not want it on her paws at all.

Not easy to manipulate
The idea is good. The paste is not a genius idea... most of cats are uncomfortable with sticky thing of them. So, applying that paste on the cat’s paw, is a mess... the cat wants to go elsewhere to wash, and spread the paste all on the floor by walking on their paws, with the paste on it. If your cat is calm, it could work...
