Like all costume armor from Amazon, you have to do a little bit of work to get it to fit right. I had to drill custom holes in the straps. For everyone mentioning that it need to hang by a belt, I'm going to try a solution. I bought a small pack of 100 lb strength neodymium magnets with an eyelet. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Q98SWTX Place these at the top of the leg and use some cord to tie it to your belt. The magnets haven't come in yet but I'm curious to give this a try. As far as articulation, the legs bend to a fair degree. Once I can get it attached to a belt, I think it'll be great.Update: The magnet idea unfortunately didn't work very well.

These look just like the picture, I knew going in that the greaves were part of the leg and do not have a back, I was surprised to find that the thigh has little extra piece that is hinged to protect the back leg a bit, I was afraid this was going to look like those cheap stove pipe legs that you see an eBay auctions. But they look really nice I am impressed,I am 6 foot and I would say that they just barely fit my legs they are rather long(so 6'0 or taller or size 30 or longer in pant length). For some reason Amazon isn't letting me post pictures anymore but I will as soon as I figure it out.

Arbor hinge broke on leg in less than 4 hours of walking. Buy something else.

So, these are not custom made, which means some bending is required. The leather straps could use a few more holes in them, so a leather awl is recommended. I would have liked some way to attach these to my belt out of the box, but it won't be hard to drill an extra couple holes for straps to hold these up. Won't be perfect out of the box, they do require a little customization, but not a lot.

they aren’t actually that bad and look pretty much just like the picture. they are very big so keep in mind if you get this you will have to do work too it.

Rugged and articulated. Could benefit by customizing to hang from belt though. I drilled some additional holes for the leg buckles, wiped the to be expected grease off and they fit perfect on 6; 2" lean. Can bend for custom fit. Leather in good condition, Arrived quickly.

These are well made, sturdy and flex nicely. I'm 5 foot & inches with short legs and they will still work fine as long as I wear heavier boots as the bottom of the armor rests on the top of my foot a bit but still fine...4 leather straps with buckles, great finish, overall happy!
