I like that hat but one HUGE issue to me is the poor quality control, my hat has a real tree logo half cut off by a seam right in the front middle of the hat, if it were elsewhere I wouldn't mind but thus is just poor quality and lack of caring for your product. I'll change my opinion if I ever get help from the seller. I've waited expectantly for thus hat now im faced with printing the return label, going to the damn ups store, oh and waiting another 2 weeks just to fix something that never should have been. Thanks panther vision.

This will be my 3rd panther vision had for daily use. The new lighting system is definitely a bit brighter, buy it doesn't throw the light as far, but for my uses that's a fair trade off. The bill of the hat and the light are not centered though ( something I've noticed on all of my panther vision hat )

Bought the CR2032 version of this hat twice and liked everything except the battery life. Hoped for better things with the 2.0 version. But the manufacturer chose the cheapest switch for the LED light and a battery pack that makes the switch seem high end by comparison. Both switch and battery pack broke while the hat itself is still like new. For $10 more than the CR2032 version - which still works fine, BTW, this iteration qualifies as a step backwards. Hope the extra money the manufacturer is getting for this can fund a better design, but I won't hold my breath for it. Looking elsewhere the next time I decide to buy another LED cap.

I bought three of these hats, for travel and home. Even with new Energizer batteries, the brightness lasts only a few minutes, the light will not turn on again after being turned off however briefly, and the batteries are a royal pain to change. I am extremely unhappy with this purchase. The lighted caps I get at Lowe’s are waaaay better than these and at a fraction of the cost.

Headlamps squeeze my head, making them uncomfortable to wear for very long. This hat is a huge improvement for me. It has 1 quirk. The latch that holds the batteries in place unhooks itself regularly. Easy to snap back in place but tricky with no light. Tape it in place to keep its one flaw from making it sometimes seem the hat is broken. Overall, this cap is a game changer for me doing farm chores predawn or after dark!

It was a GREAT hat...until it wasn't. Simply would not turn back on. Changed the batteries, looked over the cap carefully, could not get light to turn back on. Only 2 months old. Very pleased with the hat. However, wiring may be faulty. Short life span. Consider the hat disposable and not long-term.

My hubby loves this hat. I can't get him out of the basement now working on whatever he can. lol. He even took it Elk hunting and loved that he could see everything in the tent without hanging something or holding a flashlight. Very nice quality and useful product.

The hat is really good fits good and looks good the light is nice but the battery holder isnot hood at all. It keeps opening up and u have to fix it so the light works.

I had previous version for about 1.5 years until it died. So, that was nice fit and nice lite. It is extremely convenient to have hands free flashlight. It says lifetime warranty, but unfortunately they not honor it. When I called they said to buy a new one, or ship it to them for investigation.(of-course I have to pay for it more than new one). So, I bought newer version of this cap. Pros: 3 settings instead of 2 so light is brighter on first one but draws battery fast. Finally AAA battery instead of tablet ones so don't need to do many trips to dollar store to get a batteries. Now cons: 1. No lifetime warranty which means no washing because you have to buy new one. (So you have to wear it until it smells) 2 . New one made a little bit high so it will be sitting on your ears not tip of your head, or you have to tuck your ears under. (poor design I guess) 3. It is a single LED, so light is bright but only in the center of the cup so not convenient (makes you blind if you work on shiny parts) as previous ones has 2 led on each sides, so it rarely reflect in my eyes. 4. Switch for ON/OFF is exposed so dirt and dust goes in, now after quite of usage it is faults sometime, so needs to click it again and again, definitely not for dirty environment. Previous version has it under the fabric so it was never failed.

I've worn powercaps for about 5 years, decided to try this 2.0 version last winter. Its alright but seems to eat the triple a batteries quite fast, and I'm not a fan of how bulky they are vs the old style with 4 2032 cells. As of yesterday the clip that holds the batteries in broke as well so its pretty much just a camo hat now.

Purchased for a gift and the owner loves it! Was quite pleased how far the light shone.
