Fantastic poppy seed bakery, just the right combination of fluffy inside and not too sweet poppy seed filling.It's nearly impossible to get any bakery with poppy seed filling in the UK, so really glad Karaway is offering this!

Absolute perfection on this side of Paradise!
I very rarely bother to write a review on a food item, because food is just... food, not much more to say. However, this Karaway Bakery Sweet Poppy Brioche was really different. Wow, this thing vanished from the table quicker than you could say "Ka-ra-way" :) Seriously, it was so delicious that all of us (a family of five) demanded in one voice that it be ordered again and again, in perpetuity. Presumably the ingredients were natural and that explains the high quality. Anyway, I am now buying all kinds of breads made by Karaway Bakery and am recommending this seller to others. I hope the prices will stay as they are (they are already very high) forever.

Absolutely yummy
Goes well with coffee, tea and a bit of butter on top 🤭 but super pricey. It is traditional Lithuanian poppy seed cake/bread. The only difference is that in LT it doesn’t cost more than 2 euros.

We could barely eat it. Not the best quality and overpirced. Would not recommend

Bravo Karaway! Taste of chilghood!
It's really my grandmother's pie, reach of poppy seeds and extremly tasty! Yes, it's not a brioche, it's much better! This is not for breakfast, this pie is good by itself. I can only add one thing to this pie a big cup of hot well prepared black tea. My husband likes to add honey or sweetened condensed milk. Anyway it is good for tea break during the day. Thanks a lot Karaway!

Expensive for what it is
This was supplied as a substitute for the seeded bloomer I ordered. I wouldn't have chosen this loaf myself mainly due to the price!The chocolate eggs on top were a nice touch, and the loaf was a relatively nice snack ... but it really wasn't much use for my sausage and egg sandwich which is why I'd ordered a bloomer and not a cake masquerading as a loaf of bread :(I won't be ordering one of these again (not that I actually ordered this one but hey ho)

Very nice and bigger than you expect so not a bad price after all!
This stuff tastes super. Quite rustic as the poppy mix is not totally evenly distributed. Can be torn for a bit of ad-hoc sharing. Versatile as it is sweet enough to eat as it is but is also yummy with a spread of cream cheese. Everything I have tried from this bakery has been expensive but worth buying because of the high quality.
