Very nice and sturdy lock. Easy to install and works very well. Mechanism is very simple making it very robust and fail safe. It is spring loaded when closed so it can be disengaged manually in case of power failure. By inserting and turning the key on the inside keyhole, the push button can be disabled in case you have it set up on your front gate like my case.

solid lock, just like the ones in asia. comes with cylinder for the outside, though not really meant to be operated with key from outside, but only with electric solenoid. big and heavy, case is mostly empty, but good thickness steel.

This is a good solid lock. I would have given it a five if the description had been clearer about how it works. As it was unclear to me how it worked until I received it, a description may be useful. As the door is closed, the ramped latchbolt (on the big part) engages with the receiver slot (on the small part). Also as the door closes, the plunger with the roller wheel (on the big part) is pressed in, and is held in against a flat surface on the receiver. The door is now locked, but is spring-loaded to unlock. A pulse of electricity to the coil (on the big part) releases the stored energy and unlocks the door. The only way to re-lock the door is to open it and close it again. This works okay for my purposes, but some might prefer a lock that allows the door to be opened as long as the coil is energized, and then returns to locked when the coil is de-energized.The latch bolt is reversible so that the lock can work from either direction. Once locked, the little silver button on the big part trips the mechanism and unlocks the door the same as if the coil had been energized. The provided keys can be used from the inside to lock the button so it cannot be pressed to unlock the door.A tumbler is provided so that, by using the key, you could trip the mechanism and unlock the door from the outside. Something to keep in mind, though, is that the big part has the coil connections and most people will want to mount it on the door frame, not on the door. The pieces supplied with the external tumbler are too short to operate the unit through a wall. This was not a problem for my purposes and I didn't install the outside tumbler, but it might be a concern if you need be able to unlock the door from the outside.With that said, the lock seems very solid and likely to last.

La verdad unciona muy bien, pero si mismo como mi título, es una cerra...dura muy dura, pues para poder cerrar la puerta hay que hacerlo con fuerza porque no es nada suave al cierre, por lo tanto la puerta retumbaaaa.
