Powerful hood to take in most cooking smoke. Love the permanent baffle filter
This under cabinet hood looks and functions well in my remodeled kitchen. We are looking for a powerful under cabinet hood to replace our old one and it takes in most cooking smoke since our family are used to cooking heavy dishes like steak, fried rice, braised beef etc. The one-piece seamless design looks elegant and easy to clean with just one wipe after cooking. What I love and value the most are the permanent baffle filters, it is easy to clean after each use by just putting into the dishwasher. The large and stripe filters functions well for grease capture, and it goes into the internal oil collector where I can easily draw out the cup and dump the grease. Will recommend this good product to anyone who is looking for a powerful and long-lasting powerful hood. Also they provide 10 year warranty on parts.

Poor suction
The media could not be loaded. Seems well made but it lacks suction power. Suction barely holds a paper towel up. As seen in video a lot of steam escapes the suction zone. Even when cooking on back burner it lacks good suction power. I ran new 6 inch ductwork with direct access to the outside so I know it’s not my ductwork. I even took range hood down to double check connections and everything was fine. Unit is loud but that’s to be expected. Extremely disappointed in range hood that seems to vent no better than the microwave it replaced.

Great customer service. Efficient and functional motor. Deep hood design to cover all burner area
I purchased this PR830 under cabinet range hood for my parents to replace the previous greasy and old hood. They are very satisfied with the 22.5’’ deep hood that can cover all 4 burner areas. So every time when they are cooking the heavy dishes like fried rice, fried steak, the powerful motor and fan can take in most of the cooking smoke even when 4 burners are working at the same time. Also the baffle filter comes in high quality, easy to wash in dishwasher. Plus, I am very happy with the customer service they provide. The online sales team gives me detailed installation instructions, purchase guide and product usage based on my lifestyle. No push on purchase and I feel comfortable through communications. The overall experience leads me to give a 5 star rating.

suction power
The product is good in general but the suction would more power is much better

Very poor product.
Purchased and when installed power switch died immediately. Was sent a replacement and 5 months later power switch shorted and fan will not shut off. Called company and because I purchased through Amazon they can’t help me. Can’t find any appliance repair service that will repair.This is a horrible appliance. Stay away from Pacific.
