Wonderful !
What a great tool to have in the kitchen ! I followed the instructions , i put just enough water in the pot to cover the eggs ,boiled them for 15 minutes but i pierced the eggs first and omitted the vinegar. Piercering an egg first prevents the egg from forming a flat bottom and causing cracks in the egg from the heat. After i boiled the eggs i ran cold water over them and let them cool down for a few minutes. I filled the egg peeler with cold water up to the fill line closed the lid shook it gently, not like shaking a can of spray paint go easy on it. Worked perfectly ! ps I dont know what vinegar is suppose to do i didnt want it to get into my eggs because i pierced them .

OMG!! What are ridiculous invention. Read my review.
OMG!! This was actually pretty hysterical. I saw it and I thought to myself "how is this going to work?". I was right... I tried it two separate times with three eggs each. Both times one egg lost part of it's shell while the other two eggs shells broke in a million pieces however, the shell didn't separate from the egg white. The shells that DID come off the one egg ended up pierced into the sides of the egg white like shrapnel from a bomb. I enjoyed the egg yolk from that egg, the white had to be thrown away. The other two eggs Had to be peeled by hand which took much longer than usual due to the fact the shell had shattered like windshield glass however did not separate from the egg. Just so you aficionados know; The eggs were just before expiration date which are the best eggs to use for hard boiled. When I put the eggs in the pan and covered them with one inch of water they did not float to the top which is another indication of great eggs for hard boiled. Two separate batches of eggs, one large brown dozen and one large white dozen. As I said at the beginning, I saw this and I chuckled to myself. I had to try it... As I assumed it was a complete failure and utter waste of money.

Rule #1 Folow the Instructions
Rule #2 refer to Rule #1. This egg peeler is amazing and works like a charm. The first time I used it I was ready to throw it away, but I read the instructions and, after following them, the peels slipped right off of the eggs. You might have to change how you cook your eggs and experiment with how hard you shake it, but it's worth it. The pictures people posted showing mangled eggs; I can almost guarantee they didn't follow the instructions. That's how my eggs looked the first time I used it, before I followed the instructions! Refer to rule #1! I just perfectly peeled a dozen hard boiled eggs in less than a couple of minutes and put them in a gallon ziploc in the frig. Bon Appetit!

Good Product, slightly perplexing results
Well, I gave it a noble effort! My first time using the egg stripper, I used 4 eggs prepared exactly as instructed. With 4 eggs, I was able to get 1 egg completely stripped with the other 3 having to be peeled by hand. Round 2, I used 3 eggs. Again, it was only able to fully peel 1 egg, and the remaining two would have to be done by hand.Instructions were slightly contradictory to the box it came in. The box states “Up to three eggs”, however when you read the instructions it states that you can strip up to 5 eggs at a time. Not sure if that would do more harm or benefit.Overall, not a bad product if you’re looking to ease the effort of taking the shells off of your eggs. However it will not fully strip all eggs of their shells in the stripped. You’ll more than likely spend nearly as much time preparing this device and the eggs per the instructions as you would peeling the eggs by hand. I’ll continue to perfect my methods though!

Egg-citing Egg Stripper
It arrived earlier than expected and I received it in good condition. The egg stripper came with an instruction manual. I tried it right away and I followed the step by step directions from boiling the eggs up to the shaking part.I was a bit hesitant in shaking for I’m afraid the eggs might get mushy or break altogether hence it took a long time until the eggs are finally detached from their shells. And when I saw they didn’t crumble, I tried it again and this time a little harder and still the outcome was perfect peeled hard-boiled eggs. It’s a great product that makes egg peeling so much easier!

Great and Inexpensive! Recommend highly!!!!!
I am pleasantly surprised. This gadget is fantastic. I hate having to peel hard boiled eggs; but this has made it a joy. I boil a few eggs for easy breakfasts, and then store them in the refrigerator. When it’s breakfast time, I peel them when they are cold, and then place 2 eggs in a saucepan, cover with water & let the water boil. I turn off the heat and let them stay in the pot for another 10 minutes. While this is taking place, I can do other things, and all I have to do is slice my eggs and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Voila!
