Contrary to the ad—which says IR Camera—it is not, repeat NOT, an IR camera.Nothing I've read in the manual indicates it is an IR sensing camera. It only has an IR illuminator.

Clarity at described yardages are less than listed. Within 25yards it works great at night.!

Good night vision, grainy picture with higher zoom but what I would expect at this price. My only gripe is the the zoom is “1-click” at a time of the buttons...can’t hold it down and just keep zooming in. Otherwise, does what I bought it to do. Picked up a group of hogs at 250 yds hunting in the dark.

Very pleasantly surprised. This monocular is of good quality . It's easy to use , and works perfectly in low light and no light settings. I recomend this product to anyone that likes to look up at night or look around at night. It is awesome. The price is well worth it.

Kicks butt and it’s lighter than my other. I don’t need the helmet counter weights. Perfect for what I need it for.

This Sniper Night Vision Monocular Only weighs about a pound and will fit neatly in my pack. I will be using it to spot hogs at night. I have purchased 2 other brands in the past and sent them both back. Both were twice the cost and twice the weight. I will definitely recommend this to my friends that hunt.

I saw a lot of comments about how bright the screen is and how it affected your eyes. I figured out how to set it to its dimmesst but it was still bright. While out hiking in the dark I turned it on but forgot to remove the eyepiece lens cap....and lo and behold! It's a filter! Made it much easier on my eyes. Overall good performance considering the price point. Takes some practice with the focus of both rings to get a real clear image. Thinking about getting a tripod
