I got this set to replace the set I got 2 years ago that had started acting a little screwy. I ordered the exact same ones because they lasted so long. They give off a soft light and look beautiful on my porch & deck.

Normally I like to wait a little while to write a review, but I'm going in early.First, I'm pretty pleased with these. I installed them on a fairly cloudy day but after about 45 minutes, I covered the solar panel and they were already lighting up. The whole string was functioning fine, and the length was actually perfect for my purpose - as in it magically terminated exactly where I was hoping it would, without my having measured a thing. They're not as bright as the last string I bought (different brand that wasn't solar powered, and wasn't suiting my current needs), but this may be due to the fact that they only had a short time to charge, and regardless, they add a nice ambiance.Unfortunately, I had to dock a star and want to echo the sentiments of others in their reviews - set up was quite a pain because of the way these are spooled. The end closest to the panel is tucked away at the very end, so you have to unravel the whole thing to get started. This was, initially, an annoyance, but became a bigger problem as I continued on. Is it the company's fault that I decided to do this on an incredibly hot day? Absolutely not. Was it their fault that a task which had previously taken me 20 minutes this time took more than three times that? I'd argue yes. I had to stop and untangle, unspool, and re-spool these things on at least 5 occasions. I'm a pretty patient person overall, but found myself thinking "maybe I'll just give up and try again tomorrow." It was a real pain, and I'm VERY happy they worked, because I'd have been quite frustrated had they not.Had I the choice, I'd only have docked half a star for this inconvenience, but alas. Overall, I'm pleased so far. They look nice, they seem durable, and I really appreciate that I don't need to plug them in; just too bad what should have been an simple install took so much longer than necessary because of what seems like a pretty easy manufacturing fix.

Great little lights used for our outdoor patio. Lasted only 2 yrs... being solar, you would think they would last longer, but they just stopped one day even when getting enough sunshine.

They tangle. Allow time for your project. Worth the time. I love how they look.

Works well at first but when it got wet it wouldn’t work anymore

They don't keep the selection I make. Always go back to rotating through blinking, strobe, flash, etc. Tried several times to reset - after a day they go back to rotatating through again. Other than that, they work fine.

I purchased these little lights for our privacy fence. I placed the solar panel up high for maximum sun and simply wrapped the string of lights down along the fence...wrapping it around each post as I went. No staples, no ties or string, nothing at all was needed to hold them in place. Well in the captions/reading of this product it states that these lights are fine outside in ALL types of weather, rain, snow...any type. Well they stopped working after several months. I tried looking up the company's warranty on it but can't find it...very disappointing since (of course) I only have them a year...

First, these are not high output lights. They are soft lights with a yellow color in keeping with the fairy light theme. They are very long and lined my large deck railing with some left over. The LEDs are on bare copper wire that I was afraid to bend or twist very much in fear I would break it. So far, they seem to be working fine, at least for as long as I see them at night. After bedtime, I don't know how long they stay on. The brighter the sunlight you place them in during the day, the longer they will shine. They are pretty, though, and accent my cabin very well.

when I bought these I sent a picture of one set of lights where the solar panel bubbled up after one day in the sun. I was told that as long as it didn't affect the light it was ok. Well, after 2 months it started flashing lights erratically and now dies out after an hour or so. Too late to send back. Won't buy from this seller again unless they read this and replace the faulty one.

I bought 4 of these rolls of lights because my sister has them in her yard and they are beautiful.BUT, 3 out of 4 of our rolls were completely tangled and knotted. It took 2 hours per roll to unwind it carefully. Once they were on the tree, they looked great.The last pack we unrolled was so frustrating because after spending an hour undoing all the tangles, the copper wire looked like it had been broken and was “patched up” all twisted around each other. It’s as if we had used product.For the sheer amount of time this took and for the broken product, I do not recommend this product at all. I am so frustrated

that was my only problem - unwinding - i bought 2 for the trees but forget it - too hard to use that way. would not buy again but if they can find a way to make unwinding process easier - that would be ok. i personally would not buy this product again.

Solar panel works to charge in even a bit shadier area. I’m happy with the brightness and length of the strand.Good little lights, overall.

Bought this as a new year present for a friend, thinking it was an indoor light. She loves it, though it looks fragile it is quite sting and she moves it around the garden until she finds the tight spot. V happy
