General Pump DCLTG18 Telescoping Wand, 6'-18', 10.5 GPM, 4000 PSI

Needs some getting use to when wrestling the pressure. But came to tame the beast rather quickly. When I ordered this I believed the belt-support would come with it. I fashioned my own using a suitcase belt and a HDuty bungee...(should patent it...works great). But begets the question of why a belt support isn't/wasn't included? Bad form. Oh well, lesson learned. Seems to be made well...of course we'll see how the "unseen" parts hold up to performance shelf-life. However, it "all-roads to Sunday" is better than working on a wobbly ladder for this old guy.

The wand is well made with good quality materials and works well with the Simpson MegaShot MSH3125 power washer running at 3200 PSI at 2.5 GPM. There doesn't appear to be any significant drop in water pressure with the wand connected to this power washer.Everything basically works well. The only downside with the wand is a slight water leakage between two connecting brass washer nuts, though tightened water does drip out between them. The seal leakage is slight and so not a big problem but FYI, I saw another review mentioning the same issue, something that doesn't effect operation just gets your hands wet.With the General Pump D20011 12" Chrome Gutter Cleaner Attachment connected to the wand, this attachment has a very lose brass quick connect fitting, causing it to rotate around inside the wand mount. If you set it at an angle in relation to the wand, the attachment will twist around all the time under pressure.The workaround I found is to rest the head of the attachment into the gutter and let the water pressure push the connector & wand back against the various gutter cross stiffeners (every so many feet) then the lose attachment movement doesn't cause a problem, the gutter holding wand and attachment in place.If you try and hold the gutter cleaner attachment above the gutter then the water pressure will twist it around and push the whole wand backwards, making it almost impossible to hold steady from the ground.The safety brochure clearly indicates not to extend or retract the wand's length when under pressure, meaning the power washer has to be turned off every time you make a change in length. Always safety first, but in reality you can change length without any problems whatsoever and keep the power washer running, a much more practical solution. This wasn't a problem for me but as per the safety book, you do so at your own risk.

Would have given it 5 stars had it included the Quick Connect hose attachment fitting. I didn't know it was not part of the wand and could not find one at the builders supply store or Walmart in my small town. Had to rob one from the wand that came with the pressure pump which meant I could only use the telescoping wand and it is pretty heavy and cumbersome when washing at lower levels or tight places.

I used this maybe 10 times and the rivet at the top broke off. I need to fix it now but for the most part it worked pretty good. fyi>>be careful if you get the gutter attachment to put on the top of this....im a strong guy and I couldn't control it.

Works very well. Needed to buy the attachment to clean the gutters. You're gonna get wet so be prepared.

Great accessory for the $ - does come with the couplers to tie into pressure washer, however no tip but you can use the one in your wand if no extras on hand. I spent most of yesterday pressure washing the house & can tell you, YES its a free workout! Once you get the hang of it & are comfortable with it not so bad but it definitely wants to work your upper body while using it!Solid product for the $, I'm happy & glad I bought it.

Worked great. Used washing house and performed with no problem.

A little awkward to handle but works great.
