This is a full color, oval pendant of the Hindu Deity Ganesh. The pendant is 1 1/4 " long by 7/8 " wide. Each pendant is made using a powdered glass enamel decal, which is fired on to copper. The back of the pendant is silver plated. The pendant comes on a corded necklace with lobster claw clasp. If you prefer to use your own necklace, the pendant is easily removed from the one provided. The son of Shiva and Parvati, Ganesha has an elephant head with a curved trunk and big ears, and a huge pot-bellied body of a human being. He is the Lord of success and destroyer of evils and obstacles. He is also worshipped as the god of education, knowledge, wisdom and wealth. Ganesha is one of the five prime Hindu deities (Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva and Durga being the other four) whose idolatry is glorified as the panchayatana puja.
