Ok first off, there seems to be conflicting information in the questions section. Mine did not come with a cord. this is not really a problem as it is easy to put a cord on for my application however it does double my overall price.I can't speak as to longevity or if it is truly weather resistant. I can say this light is bright and I would certainly purchase again.

This fixture replaces a burned-out, hot-running halogen bulb work light. My main use for this is indoor projects requiring sufficient light...currently painting walls/ceilings. This light fits the bill. It provides enough light in an acceptable color temperature that allows me to see spots that still need wallboard compound or more sanding. I also just used it while replacing my home's well pressure switch, pressure gauge, & pressure relief valve. It thoroughly illuminated a poorly-lit corner of my basement while working on this project.

Man this thing is BRIGHT. Very nice clean, white light, and the beautiful thing is this thing doesn't create heat the way mody work lamps do. I use it for my garage to help with lighting underneath my vehicles as I'm working on them. May actually buy a few more and rig them together to create a nice strip down the middle of the garage and wire them into a switch for working on the cars. It's very slim. Depending on what you use it for you may wish it had a switch to turn it on and off, right now you have to unplug it to turn it off.

I think the item is what it should be. I was mistaken when ordering. I thought the picture showed a mounting bracket and I thought there would be a plug in for the fixture. The units I received didn't have a mounting bracket and the wires going to the unit were bare wires. I didn't do my homework before ordering. I'm returning the units.

So far, so good! I've purchased some other brands of these LED lights, and they barely made it a month before going to the big light in the sky. I rolled the dice and bought these to see if they were any better - so far, I say they are! I am impressed with the brightness as well - they do their job!

be careful getting them wet...they get unhappy...one of two died that way...when they work, they are great

Was perfect for porch use where head room was limited. I laid it flat against the ceiling. Lots of light for 10 watts.
