Gotta catch 'em all
We bought this fascinating, colourful Blastoise figure for our young Pokémon-obsessed son. Blastoise is some sort of humanoid turtle.The figure is of decent height, of about 12 cm and a bit stocky wit short legs and short arms and a large shield that hides two rocket firing back cannons.Its fascinating appearance matches the cartoon closely.The articulation and therefore the play options are limited so it may be more intended for display but it would be good for both.I can’t yet say if the paint will last after extensive play.We got some cheaper, smaller Throw ‘n Pop Pokemon figures for our son before and one or two of this range. I have been disappointed with the quality of both the figures and accessories however this Blastoise figure doesn’t suffer from that - it seems quite sturdy.But then again it was also more expensive, as most action figures are these days.

A great Pokémon figure which my 6yr old really liked. Well made and decent size.

Good toy except shoulder mount
Daughter lives pokemon, so brought her this, the figure itself it okay, except Ash looks very strange as his hat came off, also the shoulder mount that "shoots" Pikachu can be a bit hit and miss, sometimes it shoots fine sometimes it gets stuck and needs a flick up the backside to launch.Apart from hat and shoulder mount it's okay but could be better.
