Stayed secure in an ear that foam plugs could not seal
I have worn earplugs for decades in industrial environments and now in retirement, I use them in movie theatres and musical performances. The foam earplugs work fine in one ear, but I could not get any brand of foam plugs to stay sealed in the other ear until I got these! Not only were they effective during the music, but also stayed comfortably in my ears as I slept back at the noisy campground ,with my CPAP strapped to my face to boot! Bonus feature is the tiny hard-sided carrying case that is easy to find by feel in my handbag.

They Work! Confusing Reviews and Instructions.
Before I ordered the Alpine Partyplugs, I read the reviews here. I didn't realize the reviews covered all models of Alpine plugs. I assumed mine would arrive with interchangeable gold and silver filters, as so many reviewers discussed. They did not. So keep that in mind when reading the reviews. That said, the plugs were delivered on time. When I first attempted to insert the plugs using the tool, I could not get them in at all. This went on for some time, even with my wife helping. Using the tool was painful, and other than once or twice, the tool would not do the job. Apparently I have very small ear canals, and the tool was making the plug larger than what would comfortably fit. Then I tried inserting without the tool, simply pushing in with my finger. Viola! Works quickly and easily, every time. They stay in, and I have no problem removing them... no tool needed. Now, the reason for five stars. I put them to the "acid test" last night, and they absolutely worked. My wife and I love a local rock band that also happens to be extremely loud. So loud, that it was scaring me as my left ear would " hum" for 2 or 3 days after! We sat up front last night, in front of the speakers, and today, no ear problems! The music sounded great, as always. Yes, conversation was a bit muffled, but not bad.The plugs came with a small case. But be careful not to lose them... they're small! They're clear, and not noticeable in my ear. The Alpine Partyplugs work wonderfully for me. That said, ears come in all shapes and sizes. So your mileage may vary. If they didn't work for me last night, I would have returned them. But for me, they're a five star product.

Work pretty well
I wore these to aftershock (a metal/rock festival) and they worked really well to block the harsh loudness while still enjoying the music. It was a bit hard to hear someone trying to talk to me with these in and it made the vocals a little less crisp. But overall i did not go home with ringing ears after hours of bass and heavy metal

Best earplugs ever!
The first time I used Alpine was in 2007! They were great then and easily protected my hearing from loud techno. Needless to say, they have kept improving since and gotten even better. I got two pair of PartyPlug Ear plugs for me and my husband to use at EDC LV. Perfect use, fit both our ears (did not fall out), nice and snug. It was his first time using them and although skeptic at first he said he won’t go back to without. No ringing ears, music quality excellent. Read their website- these are recommended by renowned DJ’s. I now even use them at work to numb out the chatter but without blocking out all conversation. Great product, will buy again. Quick delivery from vendor, thank you.

Handy, affordable, and works great!
This review is for the Party Plug version, which I'll primarily use for band practice, gigging, and concerts. As far as performance, these ear plugs fit perfectly inside my ears and the soft plyable coating would probably adapt nicely to many ear canal sizes. I like that they're clear and not even noticeable when in my ears. Sound and loud noises are considerably lower, but I can still hold a conversation. The comfort level is extremely nice, which is important for me considering band practice can go on for hours... They come with a nice small "miniboxx" container. They fit in there perfectly and it has a small footprint inside my front pocket. It also came with a more spacious case, which includes an insert applicator. That won't be as comfortable in my pocket, so I tossed that part. Fortunately, you can easily insert them without the plastic applicator piece. Excellent product with a good price tag. Highly recommended.

Hears to a great product !
I'm not a concert goer per se. But, I do like to get out and about occasionally. And, there are times when whatever venue I find myself, there's music playing -- loudly. Whether it is live music, a DJ, or just a radio station, there is some impetus for venues to turn the volume "up to 11". I don't know why -- maybe loud equates to fun for many people.Anyway, these ear plugs are great. I was able to protect my ear drums from taking a beating, while still participating in conversations that would have otherwise been very difficult. Don't get me wrong -- conversation is still a little bit of a challenge, but it would have still been the case trying to talk over the volume "up to 11". I was even able to go to the front of the venue right at the stage (at my date's request) without my ears bleeding or bleeding. And, I plan to wear them if/when I go to a movie theater. Because they also like to turn the volume "up to 11".

Definitely protect your hearing while on a park bench
You Absolutely want to protect your hearing while you're sitting on a park bench you never know when some crazy random person is gonna walk into your YouTube video LOL.I got these based on the YouTube recommendation Tom Scott park bench videos I was looking for a while and I am very pleased with these they are comfortable like a decent bit of sound and still let me kind of hear what was going on while I was mixing (you know you're too loud when your sound engineer needs earplugs). The carrying case is nice they stay on my keychain and they're always with me for those random times when "hey by the way we're gonna have a fire drill" oh great loud sirens any minute days. I thank that person for warning me.
