Ineffective, mostly because the handle threads were poor and a couple different threaded handles kept coming loose very often (at least once per minute). Needs better threads, some sort of handle lock, or an included handle... especially for the price. Messy stain application as well. Frustratingly disappointed. Ended up using a small hand brush for the entire project which took several days.

I have a deck made of massaranduba. Brazilian redwood. It is similar to Ipe. Very hard and durable. I used the Eversprout brush recently when applying Messmer's UV oil. It was a tremendous improvement over using a roller or other brush as I have done in the past. The brush allowed for even, quick application of the oil and also put the oil between the boards which meant no need to go back with a brush. Invest in a good pole with a padded handle and you'll be all set. Would not hesitate to buy this again for future jobs. For the price (relative to the competition) I was able to buy 2 in case I needed a substitute. The provided comb is very useful for cleanup as well. Great product!

This brush is big. Really big. You can lay down a lot of deck stain in a short time, but I found care is required near anything you don't want stain splattered on, as it's a little sloppy. I quickly switched to a sponge stain application tool and found it covered as much area in similar time, but was easier to control and less sloppy. If you have a really big area to cover then the Goliath brush may be faster, since it holds far more stain when loaded up, but be ready to clean up the stain sloppage.

This cost a lot and was not very useful... I used it only for a bit then switched to a low nap roller.Rather disappointed.

Haven't used it yet, but I'm sure it will do what I got it for. Nice, soft bristles, and a thick, long bunch of them. It will hold a lot of stain, I can screw it on my broom handle and can stain my new front entrance ramp without bending over and do it quickly. Seeing it, it will be a bear to clean however, because I intend to use it when I get to having a deck built out back, but it does come with a cleaning comb. I am happy with this purchase, and I didn't have to go to a hardware big box store and hunt down a customer service guy to help find it. YAY!!!!!!

I own a commercial and residential painting business and we refinish decks as well. The our favorite method of application for the particular oil-based deck stain we prefer is to apply it with a lambs wool pad and "wet" back brush to work it into cracks and seams. We have used scores of brushes over the years, but after having used this one on four large decks now, it is the one I'll be using from now on. In fact, the bristles hold enough product that the initial wool pad application wouldn't even be necessary on smaller decks. It cleans easily and has held up well after covering approximately 5,200 square feet of wood deck so far.

Super great! The best brush I have ever used! We have a very large deck and recently bought the stain to redo it. A lot of money, so of course you don't want to waste it. This brush is amazing. The stain went on even. so easy to use and the best part is how it cleaned up! Super easy! We usually just throw out the brushes and pads we use if they survive until the end. I would definitely buy more product from Eversprout! I will be a continued customer and tell everyone with a deck to stain about this amazing product!

Great quality and packaging. I used this for staining my new deck. This brush is great for the wide open spaces. Be careful as you get close to areas you don’t want stained, as this thing will spatter. Kills a lot of deck in a short amount of times.
