This product does everything it says. Very easy to install, on straight sided tubs it is very sturdy. However, I had an old tub with an indentation about where the grab-bar screws into place. No matter how much you try to stabilize this, it won't work. I did not try anything other than instructions and the home therapist required me to purchase this to deem my mom safe getting in/out tub & despite already having one very similar that failed in same manner. In a newer tub, this grab-bar would be ideal & very easy to install. Be sure the tub is smooth or with no curvatures or indentations where the bar's surface must tighten on to be stable. I would give it 5* for this kind of tub & installation. I think its a good grab bar.

It is definitely sturdy and easy to install.However, I noticed that my bathtub has a slight angle on the inside of the tub, which means that the clamp will not evenly compress the entire inside surface of the tub. It still works but has a slight movement if I grab it because the clamping surface cannot press against entire inside tub contour. In any case, works fine and I dont think any other handle would do a better job.

Just what my mom needed. Durable and safe

I got this to provide a safety bar for both the tub/shower and the toilet, since they are side by side. It was very easy to install, looks nice (I got white to match the tub) and is sturdy. It can be used from both sides.

Looks like it’s really sturdy and was sooo easy to install! I think this is a really good price for it too! I would highly recommend this over the suction cup tub grab bars… I don’t trust them not to pull off the wall and I feel like this will be much safer and more reliable for my mom to get in and out of the tub as she’s getting older.

Please read this review. It is an amazing story for today! I am a widow who was forced to do a basement remodel. Due to financial restrictions, it has taken over a year to complete the process. I so wanted a bathtub again so I did add that. Because of health issues I knew I would need additional help to get in and out of the tub and purchased this item before the tub was ready for me but I'd hoped it would be in the 30 day trial period. I missed the window to return it by 3 days and was devastated when I found my new tub had just the slightest slant that would not allow a tight clamp needed to assure my safety getting out of the tub. When I contacted the seller and relayed my story, I was told I did not have to return the safety rail (the cost for postage on the heavy item would eat up the return they were going to allow me even though I was outside the 30 day window of return) and they just gave me a full return instead. I plan to find someone who needs this item and gift them with it. A Pay It Forward, if you will. This Seller is Awesome and the item itself is heavy duty and, had it worked with my tub, would have been a great safety feature. Blessings on Zaxbo!

Decent product, but appeared to be used. Rusting already started enjoined. But easy to install and very sturdy.

Mom still uses it

It was a life saver after my knee surgery. I just feel safer when I'm showering. Good quality. Easy to install.

Bought for my 80+ year old parents who have difficulty getting in & out of the bath. They don't like to admit they need help so I doubt I will hear.....One can only hope it helps.

The right angled arm, which goes on the bath side split. The weld at the joint boke and made the whole item useless, as it can't be tightened to make the handle safe.

I like the feel of this rail. Has a good grip and was easy to install - I could do it myself! Really important to me that I didn't have to get someone to do it for me.

Was delivered at decent time but product was scratched in 3 locations
