Zuke'sHip Action Hip & Joint Dog Treats Beef Recipe, 6 OZ, 3-Pack

I originally found Zukes at pet people and later found them on Amazon. My Siberian Husky actually really likes them and he's really picky. This is the second treat he has liked consistently that does upset is stomach.

I've been using Zuke's Hip Action as a Glucosamine and Chondroitin supplement for my Siberian Husky for the past few years now. My vet recommended the supplement and ai figured he would like it because of the beef flavor. Well, he does love them! He spends a lot of time in our basement because he likes the coolness. With Zuke's, he has no problem with the stairs. He just turned 10 this year! The vet said that he doesn't have any hip dysplasia, which has always been a concern of mine since he's big dog (just under 90 lbs). So we're going to continue with Zuke's, and hopefully our husky will stay healthy and pain free for many years to come.

These are the smaller packages, not 18 ounces each. On the ad, it appears that the three packages total 54 ounces. And the treats are hard as a rock. Not fresh at all. AND, the CANNOT BE RETURNED! BUYER BEWARE!

I've been using this brand for a few months, and it's really fantastic stuff. Unfortunately, I sometimes get so caught up with giving her this treat that I often forget to re-seal the bag. So finding these smaller bags makes me happy that I won't ruin as many :)I'm sure you can find a full review on this elsewhere from me, but to re-cap:My 9 year old dog just doesn't move well. We were recommended to do an otc supplement by our vet. We tried a couple pills, and while they worked they were always a struggle to get her to eat (eventually she decided she wouldn't eat them.) So when I saw these, I had to try. I was skeptical, I admit. But they work as well as the pills! Yay! My poor girl who just wants to go in the back bedroom and lie there all day (alone :( ) now RUNS to see me. She can't jump up on the sofa anymore, but she can now again get her front paws up on the sofa and stand on her back legs. Seriously, this is so great I almost cry when she does it still.The pieces are soft enough that I can break them into very small bite sized nibbles for my 5lb 11 yr old chihuahua with a bad tooth (she's not the one who needs it, but I also give to all my older dogs to help make sure they don't get as bad as the one did.) They're firm enough that very few are broken in the bag.

I started buying these when my 5lb yorkie was 14yrs old & wish I would of bought sooner. I think they helped her & she enjoyed them. They arent a pleasant smell to ME but she liked them. Be very conscious of THIS INFO tho. I cut them in 4 bc she had a small mouth & they require chewing. As she lost teeth & couldnt chew as well I had to stop giving them to her bc her saliva would make it stick to the roof of her mouth & choke. Your dog MUST have most of their back teeth bc it gets very sticky when wet. This is a great product. My big dogs unfortunately dont have an interest in them, but every dog is different & its worth a try for improving your dogs health.

Zukes is a great product for dogs. Bought from this vendor many times, however, the last two times I have been sent 6 oz. packages and charged for 18 oz. packages. Don’t know what the problem is exactly but I don’t think I will be ordering from this vendor again

I don't know if the dogs are feeling less pain. We are treating them using many ways including diet. This treat smells and tastes good. Yes, I have tasted them. It reminds me of molasses.
