In 2024, this remains the best isopod zoology reference I've found. An extensive exploration of the biology, morphology, bioactive contributions and general husbandry of isopods. A great deal of information presented in a way that is succinct and accessible to most anyone. Not easy to accomplish with a work that contains so much complex information. The quality of the photography is fantastic. Very pleased to add this to my library.

This book is the definitive resource on isopods. It is well written and packed full of information of all sorts.I'm not usually one for reference books as I far prefer internet research. However, there is nowhere I have found on the internet that has this much reliable information on isopods in one place. I'm certain that this book has saved me weeks of mistakes with my cultures and countless hours on Google with it's content.Informative and beautifully put together with detailed pictures. If you love isopods, or are looking for a gift for someone who does, buy this book! :)

Another amazing book by Orin! Definitely a must buy if you keep Isopods or even just like to learn new information on invertebrates. A lot of time was definitely put into this book and really worth the buy! I was lucky to have some of my very own pictures featured in his 200 page book, which made it even more special for me!

If you are into the 'pods, you need this book. Period.
