I found it very soft and used it to apply a tinted moisturiser first just to get an idea on how to use it.Make sure you wet the sponge before use. I wash it with mild liquid soap or shampoo weekly.It does use more of the product than when I am using my fingers but the result is a lot smoother with no streaks.I haven't used it for a thicker foundation yet however a friend of mine has used it and the effect was a smooth foundation on her face. She was very happy.

This beautyblender is a great tool for applying BB cream. The sponge absorbs water well, although it is relatively small in size. Bit pricey for how small it is.

I have tried other blenders and nothing compares to this beauty blender. I have large pores on my nose and using this to apply my makeup they are completely gone and I am left with veautiful airbrushed skin.

Never got on with makeup sponges until I tried these. I’ve since tried cheaper alternatives but in my opinion this is worth the extra cost
