3 1/8" deep, nice and roomy if you have a fat switch and or an abundance of wires to stuff in.Mounts easy.

Just a good box if you want a better price.

Should have purchased this style to start with, I order a style with a screw type which did not work well the 2x4s I was attaching to were old and hard and even with a drill impact would not seat well. The good old nail was the answer. Fast and easy.

Worked fine. No issues.
