I can't say enough about Sally Hansen nail strips (and Incoco nail strips)! Finally, I can have painted nails! My nails are thin and any nail polish I used chipped within two days - sometimes they chipped in less than one day. I bought these based on the reviews and I had very low expectations, I think because what works for most people's nails usually doesn't work for me.Honestly, the first trial didn't go well. They chipped almost immediately around the edges, but it wasn't terribly noticeable because of the pattern. The rest of the polish stayed on nicely.The second trial was much better- I learned how to smooth the edges better so no chips. After 7 applications, I thought I'd write a review - it's FOR REAL!!!WHAT I LIKE:*Nails last at least 7 days (they probably last longer, but I have to keep my nails very short for my sport, so I have to change nail polish once a week)*The patterns make my short nails look feminine*They are instantly dry - no waking up in the morning with smudges!!!*They are affordable - I get TWO applications from each box because my nails are shortTHE DOWNSIDE:*Taking the nail polish off is a process - have plenty of nail polish remover on hand and patience, too.*Putting the nail strips on takes longer than painting nails. (If you count dry-time the strips are faster than regular polish, but the application time is longer.)SALLY HANSEN VS. INCOCO*Sally Hansen's strips come in TWO separate pouches, so I can have two applications. Incoco's strips come in one pouch that can be resealed. Sometimes the second set can dry out and not work.*Sally Hansen's strips are often available on Prime so you can get them faster (and cheaper) than Incoco's strips*Incoco's big advantage is tasteful designs. Some are just gorgeous. I'm a 40+ woman and am not interested in skulls and tattoo art on my fingers. Most of Sally Hansen's patterns are targeted at teens. Incoco's designs are beautiful and more appropriate for women.TIPS FOR A SUCCESSFUL APPLICATION*Make sure the room is WARM. I turn on a space heater.*Once you have the polish in place, smooth it down well with your fingers.*Make sure to smooth the tips well - any rough edges will "catch" on fabric and chip*Apply a clear top coat within 24 hours.*Apply a second top coat after 3 or 4 days.

I was expecting the old school sally Hanson nail polish strips that were stretchy and lasted about 2 to 3 weeks if you were careful. These were like that crappy Dashing Diva brand which is literally just stickers that peel off after one day if that, the edges come up if you put your hands in your pockets, or purse, if you run your fingers through your hair they peel and hair gets stuck in them. Terrible product. I do NOT support MLMs in general as I know they are designed to make the ppl at the top rich while the ppl busting their butts selling and actually working hard make very little, but I must say if I'm going to purchase nail strips in the future it will be Color Street. Incoco is a great brand too, but if you dig deep into the company they are actually owned by Color Street, they just cost less and have far fewer options.

I found these Sally Hansen Salon Effects real nail polish strips last year and have loved them since! I still love regular nail polish, but these are great to have on hand because they take 10 minutes to put on and there is no dry time or set time! They look just like polished nails and are great for last minute plans manicures, Mama's who only have 10 minutes or anyone who doesn't have time to wait for their nails to dry and set! I hope they make them FOREVER!!!!!! i'm a lady who likes to have her nails done because it makes me happy, but I don't have the patience to go get a weekly mani. They are VERY easy to use! The very first time I got the hang of it quickly and the more times you do it the faster and even better you are (although I was very pleased w my 1st ones and I'm picky about my nails.) They say 10 days, but mine often last longer still looking great and you can extend them even further by adding a clear top coat like Sally Hansen Instant Dry top coat (my personal favorite). I'm sure other good instant dry top coats would work to extend the life too. I'm wearing a box from this shipment right now and I've had them on at least a week or more and they look great (and I'm a Mama of a 5yo:) i get tons of compliments whenever i wear these!!! Happy 10 minute Mani! P.S. I did mess up once bad on a nail - my own fault - but since they were the pink glitter ones I patched the tip w a leftover from another nail and you couldn't even see it. That's awesome! I even did my 5yo nails for fun one weekend (we took it off before Monday school;) from the scraps from the ends of the nails bc the polish strips are very long to really accomadate everyone from very short to VERY long nails!

If you always smudged your nail polish this product is for you. The product can be expensive but a simple way to save some money if you have short nails is to only open one packet of strips and cut the chosen strips in half to use them for both hands. The left over strips can be cut multiple times to be used to also do your toe nails also. The product does seem to not want to work sometimes but there are ways to get around that problem with a hair dryer and carefully place clear nail polish.This is how I do my nails so they last:Follow the prepping direction from the product.place polish on the nail and press firmly on the center top of the nailstretch the product on both side and downfirmly press product downtake the wooden stick and indent the polish that hangs off the nail, remove and file the remaining off(If your polish is lifting place clear nail polish underneath the lifted part and firmly press polish down)use a blowdryer for 10-20 seconds on the nailapply a top coat and continue for the rest of the nails.Pros: durable, great designs, no wait dry timecons: application not as easy as it claims, expensive
