Comfortable for short use but after a while it will hurt your back, definitely recommend getting the pad that lays on top if you’re thinking of using it long term or even for more then just a day. It’s super easy to open, but closing still is a struggle every once in a while and I’ve had it for about 3 years. But the flip side to it is that once it’s open it’s sturdy and won’t close up on you or anything like that.

5 stars from a fussy sleeper
I'm a 40-something lady that likes to camp but refuses to sleep on the ground. I'm a total princess about sleeping; my pillow has to be the correct height and density, my blankets need to be tucked a certain way, and the mattress has to be soft enough that I don't get any uncomfortable kinks or pressure points. Also, I cannot stand to be cold. So when I told my husband I was going to take up horse camping, he was skeptical. When I take my horse out camping with the trail riding club, we set up for a few nights and ride all day. I convert my horse trailer into a little camper and set up a whole apartment in there. I have taken this cot out three times now, and I put a thick inflatable camp mattress on it along with my perfect pillow, sleeping bag, and a down comforter. This cot can't keep you warm (I got a heater for that), but it is very stable and supports me very comfortably. I never thought I would sleep so well out camping (ok, glamping), but I get a full night's sleep and I wake up rested and ready to ride!

Large and strong
Its large and very strong but put me in pain due to pinch points in my lower back and bars running across my sholders. Otger then that solid quality

Sturdy, heavy, low to ground
I just got this cot and I believe it will serve my purpose for camping or as a foldaway bed definitely not for taking on a hiking as it is way too heavy. The bag that comes with it does not close totally shut (if you are looking to keep critters out of making nests) I'd look for a bag much bigger than the one that comes with this one. I did buy the cover and it will do but I also plan on using a thin air mattress or a gym pad to boost the height more, so it is easier to get out of if you have leg/knee issues.

Sturdy Cot
Sufficient for an extra sleeper when needed and out of the way when not needed.

A sturdy cot that my dog enjoyed as much as I did
This card is comfortable to sleep on well made and easy to put together. It is also less weight than all other cots on the market of similar size. The only issue that I have with this cart is that it is too low for me to get off of it due to recent hip surgery. It is not a flaw of the cut more of myself. If it were taller I would have kept it.

REDCAMP Folding Camping Cots for Adults 500lbs
I have had the cot for about 2 weeks but I have been sleeping on it for the last week now. I wanted to put it through its paces before depending on it. It was purchased for tent and small cabin use. This cot was chosen for its small foot print. While only 28" x 75" I fine it plenty big for a 6’ 350 lb guy. However I am a side sleeper. When on my back my arms do fall off to the sides. I did not think I would care for the head rest sticking up but actually find it beneficial. Folds out easy and is very stable. It is a tad bit noisy when rolling over (fabric noises) but the frame does not move or make noise. Siting on it does not cause it to fold at all, however I would not sit on the foot of the cot since there is no direct support there. I cannot speak to longevity as of yet but the frame work appears solid (I have sat on the edge) and the plastic joints tough and sturdy. Over all I believe this is perfect for my intended use. More than adequate for my size and weight. Would I recommend, well yes, I have order another for my wife or friends so we would have two. I also got the REDCAMP XL Cot Pads for Camping (brown corduroy) to go with it. This combo makes for a comfortable night’s sleep and not heat up. Only thing I would say at this point is I wish it was a tad taller than 15” but it is a lot better than the 8” high aluminum bi-fold cots we have now.
