Grand Parade Coffee, 5 Lbs Organic Guatemala Unroasted Green Coffee Beans, Low Acid Specialty Arabica, Fair Trade Single Origin

This coffee is not only my favorite flavor profile, it’s also the easiest to roast. So many others end up with a lot more chaff or quickly go from slightly roasted to burnt. But this Guatemala roasts evenly and slowly and has very little chaff on a consistent basis.

I was a little skeptical about purchasing green coffee beans from Amazon because I thought they may not be as fresh as beans I've purchased from speciality suppliers. When I got my first 5 lb bag, I opened it up and they smelled as fresh as beans I've purchased from green coffee suppliers. I roasted a batch to a city roast level. They roasted very evenly and had a great aroma. I degassed the beans for a couple of days then brewed a cup. It was very good. I noticed the chocolate notes right away and it was very smooth just like other Guatemalan coffee I have roasted. Since then I have purchased several bags and the beans have been very consistent. I will continue to purchase these green coffee beans.

This is my go-to supplier and I've never been disappointed. Ships on time, every time and the quality is always great. I order from Grand Parade at least every other month as I am a small home roaster. The 3 and 5lb quantity is the perfect size to have a nice selection on hand.

I love these beans. Each variety is so nuanced. I started buying pre roasted and only switched over to green beans recently and it’s opened a whole new world.
