Whenever I cut down sumac I get blisters. Domeboro is the only product I have found that dries it up and relieves the pain. I have tried so many other products but always go back to this.

No issues, except a sticker was placed over the instructions. Luckily, I am able to find the instructions online. However, shouldn’t have to go looking for directions on a product. Directions should never be covered on any OTC product. Please check in with whomever places stickers on this product so it doesn’t happen again. May seem like a nitpicking issue, but it is not. Seriously, don’t cover instructions on OTC meds or supplements. That’s how misuses happen!

A bit messy to use, but the poison sumac gradually healed after about a week. It is not a one application and done process. I used it 2 to 3 times a day for about a week to 10 days. I would do it again. The ointment I was prescribed didn't seem to help.

I am especially sensitive to spider bites, ant bites and other insect bites. They usually get infected (nasty immune system) so I have learned to use Domeboro compress soaks for any bites, stings or other rashes. I am just getting over a spider bite on my face. Used the Domeboro solution but ended up having to go to my dermatologist. She prescribed a special antibiotic but told me to go ahead and keep using the Domeboro solution. She told me to use the soaks 3x per day, then make sure the area was fully dry and then apply the rx ointment. I can say today my spider bite is now only pink instead os a big hole!! I have used this product for years! Ask your pharmacist about it!
