Excellent!
This book is hands down the best teaching on finances that we've ever seen. Finally someone in the body of Christ examines some of these mainstream Christian doctines that are getting a little out of hand. Dr. Hagin closely examines the most well known doctrines on money according to the Bible and makes the excellent point that if its not in the Bible----why would you accept it as scriptural? What makes this book so powerful is that Dr. Hagin really finds the balance between the two extremes that we often see in the church. There are those who believe that Jesus was poor and having financial resources is sinful and then there are those that get into the ditch on the other side of the road by pursuing money instead of the more important things. What God wants for us is somewhere in the middle---we all need financial resources and God is not against us having money, God just doesn't want the money to have us. This book should be required reading in every seminary as it will really help all ministers and congregations to find the balance of what God really wants to do with our resources. There are many great quote in this book---here's one:"Then Jesus talked to me about the last church I had pastored, saying that at that time, February 1949, I had entered into the first phase of my ministry. He said that some ministers he had called to the ministry live and die without getting into even the first phase He has for them. Jesus added that is one reason why many ministers die prematurely —they are living only in His permissive will! For fifteen years I had been only in His permissive will. I had been a pastor for twelve years and had been in evangelistic work for three. During those years God permitted me to do it, but it wasn’t His perfect will for my life. And He said that, I hadn’t been waiting on Him; He had been waiting for ME to obey Him."

A Must Read for Every Believer
This book is one of the most balanced teachings I have read on the subject of financial prosperity! Kenneth Hagin has done an excellent job exposing the truth about financial prosperity using the word of God. His approach to explaining every aspect using scripture and experience is simply one of the best exposition I have seen on this subject. This is well worth the price! Go ahead purchase it! You won’t regret your decision!

Wish everyone who watches media ministry would read this.
Wish everyone who watches media ministry would read this.Hunted this type of Faith all my life. 2nd Peter 1:1 opens with "Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:" 'like precious faith' is rare and precious, indeed.KEH has 'like precious faith' because he not only teaches the Word, but urges us to study it for ourselves. It is precious to find a Bible scholar who doesn't try to dominate, but knows 2 Cor. 1:24 "Not that we lord it over your faith, but we work with you for your joy, because it is by faith you stand firm." Two things I value: 1) To know for myself. 2) To be respected as an equal believer and not 'talked down to' by a leader.KEH lifts us up in Christ: Luke 22:69 "But from now on, the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the mighty God." Glory to God!

Book is great, second time reading it through
Book is great, second time reading it through. First time was hardback a copy was given by our pastor to each family at our church.Spot on to the Word and helps with the confusion of many people who fall into the ditch on prosperity - straight and narrow is the way that leads to salvation. God wants us to prosper but to do it His Way not our way - you can't out give God and there is not a magic formula either (manipulation doesn't work with Him ). Read the book you will see what I mean then

Would that Other Faith Teachers Heed This Message...
Hagin has written a much-needed corrective for those of us who believe in God wanting us to prosper. For years, "prosperity" has been a revolution to some and a revulsion to others. And though it is God's will for His children to be taken care of, too many contemporary teachers have taken the subject to unbiblical extremes.Hagin leaves no stone unturned as he scripturally lays a foundation and corrects a lot of the current teaching that has become extreme such as:* Giving to get* The 100 fold return* Giving to the poor* Sowing and Reaping* Firstfruit givingAnd more...The reality is that Hagin wrote this book to his sons in the faith trying to bring them back into balance in this area. Unfortunately, according to some reports that I have heard, Hagin's sons in the faith have largely rejected his timely message. It's kind of ironic that the very ministers who got their start with this man of faith have now rejected his corrective in the area of finances--determined to carry on with unscriptural practices and gimmicks.I am glad that I took the time to read this book. And though I have never "gone overboard" with prosperity, Hagin's book was a confirmation of some of the conclusions that I have come to in recent years.I just wish Hagin's spiritual sons would follow his lead and come back into balance. But when you start to touch the money, the fur begins to fly, I guess.Highly recommended.

Grounding Truths
I gave 5 star rating bc of the wisdom in this book along with the scriptures that prevent false teaching to remain- you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free! The word is truth but sometimes we've made the mistake of listening to well meaning preachers but forget to check our inner peace meter!
