Great water bottle!!
My daughter had a previous thermos and we couldn’t find a replacement til we ran into this one she loves how it can lock with one button. Easy to wash.

Very basic but functional bottle
I am a swim coach and spend hours on my feet on a hot pool deck. I have been on the search for the perfect water bottle and more often than not am sadly disappointed. I need a bottle that holds enough water to get me through at least 2 hours, doesn't leak, is easy to clean, and doesn't break or shatter when bumped or dropped down to the tile deck. This water bottle has no insulation and will weap/sweat if you load it up with ice, but otherwise it is a nice bottle. It holds 24 ounces which is not enough to get me through 2 hours. It is easy to hold with one hand but not so large that it doesn't fit into my van cup holder. It is made lightweight plastic. There is a nice handle which I don't honestly trust to use when the bottle is full but does a nice job when it is not. This is actually leak proof and not in the "keep it standing up or put it in a plastic bag and it will stay dry" way that I've experienced in the past. On a pool deck it tends to get knocked over and has taken it without breaking or leaking. Whether I toss it in my gym bag or my backpack, or it gets knocked over in use, it is sealed thanks to the locking feature. When you have the lid in the locked position pushing the button does not open it. No more accidental opening when in said gym bag.The lid is easy to operate with a push button -- the lid just flips back, but it will open even if the handle is in the up position, which will block you from drinking. A strange design but minor irritation. The nozzle is basically an open hole and makes drinking effortless. It does mean that if it gets knocked over when open it will pour everywhere. One thing I don't understand is the "rotating intake meter". At first I thought it was a way to control the amount of water that comes out of the bottle and was excited to be able to adjust it for times I need more water flow vs less. That is not what it is. This is a dial that you (evidently) spin every time you fill the water bottle. I don't know who needs this, and I'm certain there is someone that thinks it is handy to track their water intake, but to me it's just another gimmick to clean. Dishwasher safe, but I put it on the top rack.Made in China

Button to open lid wears easily
The button to open the lid wears pretty easily, the button gets stuck inside causing the lid to not lock in sometimes which makes the water bottle open randomly. Also, the top of the lid has a silicone insert to seal the water but if the bottle is shaken then it can leak liquid. If the lid was better I'd honestly have no complaints.

Nice upgrade on this product
We've used Thermos water bottles for years; this is a replacement with nice, easier to use upgrades.

Simple bottle, durable, wide mouth = easy to clean
I wanted something durable to put into my backpack for when I travel -- something that can survive a drop when I put my bag in the overhead compartment and it inevitably slides out. But, I don't want anything that is too heavy, bulky, or is difficult to open -- both for drinking and for filling/cleaning. This bottle meets my needs nicely. The cap on this bottle screws on and off easily and provides a good seal. There is a lock to keep the drinking cap from opening when you don't want it to, but when you do, cap pops open easily with the push of a button (assuming the lock is unlocked). This cap also has a good seal on it. I feel pretty safe that it will not leak.I don't know about the "turn-to-keep-track-of-your-water-intake" thing. It seems like more trouble than it is worth to me. It does not get in the way, but it seemed to require too much effort (my opinion) to rotate to the next number. NOTE: After some time "breaking it in," it is not too bad. Other than this, I have no complaints about the bottle, and, since this is not a feature that I care about, it does not impact my rating. This is a "Thermos" bottle, but note that it is ONLY for cold liquids :)When there is condensation on the bottle, it can be a little slippery. My only suggestion would be some kind of texture on the bottle. That might help grip it more easily -- and to have it stay better in my backpack's water bottle sleeve, too.

Lock is a joke
The lock can be easily unlocked by the slightest movement against it. Twice this week it came unlocked and made a huge mess. It’s fine as long as you don’t need to rely on the lock.
