Fun and cheap
This toy has been great. My three sons (aged 7, 9, and 12) all love to play with it, flip it around and watch it spin. It does not exactly do a lot of tricks but it is just one of those things that once you pick up, it is hard to put down.I was also worried about the string at first but it is durable and has not even worn a little. It also includes a small finger loop (critical) that keeps it from flying off your finger.Finally, it creates really fun visual patters under the right lighting conditions. My youngest especially loves just spinning it like a top and watching the colors.I would say this is a great to for any kid in the 7-12 range. A frisbee on a string with cool colors--how can you go wrong?

Going on 62 years old, and finally, a toy I can just pick up and rock with! The 1/16' shock cord eventually wore threw, and I replaced it cheaply with some from ebay, the new cord (very slightly smaller diameter, I couldn't find an exact match, it's not 1/8") hasn't worn threw yet. Watch the YouTube videos, the guy from Amsterdam could be you in no time.

Grandson wanted for Christmas
Got this for my grandson as he requested it. Not sure about the quality or if it was fun as most children have many toys at Christmas and did not get feedback from him.

Not what I thought I was ordering.
Hard plastic frisbee like toy with an elastic string. After the first catch, my border collie would not go near it. And my border collie lives to play frisbee. I think it was too hard and poorly shaped for him. I donated the two I bought to a local youth group, but they too rarely use them. If you're into solo frisbee, this might be something to check out.

Great Gift
My[...] son loves to give these as gifts to his friends. They're fun to play with alone or with a friend. The flip n flyer requires some coordination and is such a lightweight toy that it encourages improvisation and skill building. AND it's relatively inexpensive so it makes a GREAT GIFT! I buy them in bulk to have as last minute birthday gifts!

More fun than a frisbee!
My eight year old grandsons loved this toy. It was the hit of their birthday party. Easy to use, clever yet simple in design, and it didn't end up on the roof! Have a couple of these on hand for birthday gifts.
