The portable speaker did not have enough volume for my needs (which is getting preschoolers to listen to a story) When I wrote the company I heard right back from Joanna (working in AFrica!) offering a full refund and another suggestion for one with more power. Very cool Speaker. Gives good sound, but could be a little louder IMO. It has good level, but could be a touch louder. Also it seems to be less loud when you use a cable input rather than the bluetooth feature. Has good depth, and rich bass for a speaker this size tho. Excellent for a portable speaker in this price range.

I had the opportunity to own this product for a small amount of time.although it doesn't have a particular feature I needed I think overall this little small speaker packs a truly amazing sound and has no problem with playing music on the go anywhere. I would definitely recommend this speaker to anyone needing great sound at anytime. .

Not good. chinese low price. Oontz much much better for same price. Fake good reviews. I returned it.

Poor build. Mediocre Sound. Bass non-existent.I bought this because I wanted an inexpensive loud portable bluetooth speaker with good reviews (at least 4.5 stars).I bought this speaker for $17.99 (inexpensive). It was advertised as "10 watts" (loud). It had good reviews, albeit few (4.8 stars, 4 reviews).I bought two units to get free shipping (at least $35), plus I like the "surround" effect when two speakers are used instead of one (I use a Belkin headphone splitter to connect the 2 speakers).Comments:Shipping was fast and packaging was great.Of the two speakers, only one was working properly.One unit did not power-up if turned on, unless you plug in the charger. I charged it for one hour, still no sound nor light (led indicator) coming out from the defective speaker. I didn't want to send it back to Amazon for warranty because I live in the Philippines and shipping fees (round-trip) would cost 40 bucks, far more costly than this inexpensive speaker. So I had the speaker opened up and repaired. The repair guy reported that the battery pack wasn't properly connected, that's why the unit was not charging and it can't be powered up without plugging it in. After the repair, the unit is now working properly.Pros:1. Inexpensive2. Bluetooth and aux functions are both working3. Decent volume4. You help Africa get lighted if you buy this speaker, thus the company name "Team Planet".5. Looks like the Beats Pill, which is coolCons:1. Bad build quality:Aside from the defective unit, I found traces of glue underneath the other, nondefective speaker. The repair guy reported that he had a hard time opening the unit because aside from having screws, the speaker was "glued" (using glue gun).The inside look cheap and substandard. I don't know where this speaker was manufactured, but I'm betting it's made in China. It doesn't feel sturdy, so do not drop it.2. Sound is mediocre at best:The bass is non-existent. I don't feel the desk underneath it shaking, even during bassy song parts.The sound is not full. My other 6-watt speakers sound fuller and has more bass than this "10-watt" speaker. The sound that comes out of this speaker is no different from Chinese brands.)Conclusion:Do I recommend this? Depends.1. If you want an inexpensive speaker with bluetooth and aux capabilities, and at the same time help Africa. Buy it.2. If you only want to enjoy music from a portable device, look somewhere else.Bottomline: You only get what you pay for.------------------------------UPDATE:I received a full refund today from Team Planet/Amazon, not only for the defective unit, but also for the fully-functional unit. Actually, I didn't request for a refund or a replacement, but Team Planet/Amazon gave it nonetheless. Moreover, they didn't ask for the return of the defective speaker and they didn't ask for a revision of this review.I am very happy with the excellent customer service. Therefore, I have decided to revise my review and 2 more stars to my previous rating of 2 stars.Speaker: 3 stars (decent highs and mids, but no bass at all)Customer Service: 5 stars (previously 1 star because of the defective unit)Overall: 4 stars (from 2 stars for excellent customer service)
