This makes perfect sense for any device like a unibody laptop that is lacking i/o - the design is minimalistic and thin and the fact its metal will mean it blends in well with a lot of modern premium laptops (which tend to have USB c anyway)All the ports work as expected and have a snug, but not ridiculously tight fit. The USB 3 transfer speeds are as expected too.Only way to improve is to sacrifice the thinness for a gigabit ethernet adapter. Personally I'd think this is the best combo, but it would sacrsfice losing the very sleek package.All in all, as long as you don't need a wired connection - you'll be happy with this.

The design of the device means that it sits flush against the side of the iPad Pro. The hub not only has pass through power but it also supplies 5V of power to the USB port, meaning that you can connect devices such as microphones that require a powered connection without having to use an another extra power cable (something that other iPad hubs don’t seem to do).While it’s useful to have the 3.5mm audio jack it appears that you can have multiple audio devices connected at the same time (ie you cant use the headphone jack to monitor audio from a connected microphone). I’m not sure whether this is a limitation of the hub or the iPad itself.There are other iPad Pro hubs on amazon but this seems to be the most versatile of the options.

I bought an iPad Pro recently and didn’t realise that these are now USB-C rather than the lightning cables I had previously.What it means though is that the iPad can now be used for a multitude of applications through various plug ins such as this adapter which is amazing.You simply plug it into the port and it transfers the iPad into a super hub of various ports. You can literally attach any type of input and the old will register it.Plus now with the new iPad OS, it makes the iPad function like a real laptop with so many more features. If you have an iPad but don’t have this adapter, you are honestly missing out on a a load of features and benefits!

This is a very nice hub I use with my iPad Air 2020. Allows me to use my 3.5mm jack headphones and USB C external drives for watching movies. Very well made.

Generally pretty good, has trouble connecting if there is a cover on the iPad so I have to remove iPad from case in order to use the hub

It’s great and works great with everything I plug in. The only downside is that it doesn’t fit with my cover, so I have to take it out to use it, but maybe it was something I didn’t see beforehand.

I love this product. It’s slim, unobtrusive and slots neatly into my iPad Pro USB- C port and to my MacBook Pro 2020. It is literally plug and play. I’ve tested each functionality port and they all work perfectly. I’m especially pleased with being able to charge my iPad Pro, plug it into a large screen monitor and use my plugin headphones all at the same time. I don’t often write glowing reviews, but the little gadget certainly deserves one. It is also excellent value for money, given that I recently paid €50 for a hdmi to USB-C connector.
