I bought this to heat up my daughter’s 6ft kiddie pool. I like to set it up in the shade so that we don’t have to put on sunscreen, but of course, the water can stay pretty chilly, even on a very hot day. This does take about five hours to get the water to about 84°, and that’s starting from a 73°. I cover it with a thin painting tarp after it’s finished filling. I do this around 6:30 in the morning, and there are about three hours that it gets hit by the sun, which I’m sure helps. I really didn’t think this thing would work, so I am ecstatic! I pop it back in when we get out to take breaks, and the water stays comfortable. I used to haul buckets of hot water to the pool to try to warm it (which barely works and is back- breaking) This thing is my new best friend!

So we received the unit yesterday. We put it inside a crate with holes and put it into our 10 ft wide 3 ft deep inflatable pool. Before putting it, we took the temp of the pool. At 3pm yesterday the pool was a freezing 49°!!! We put the cover on the pool with the unit inside and left it. This morning at 8am i took the temp and it was 64°!! I would say the product definitely works and is worth the money, almost a 20° imcrease in less than 24 hours! Also, i would like to add that the weather is not hot here where we live whatsoever quite yet... it is 49° outside right now so i blame all the increase in pool temp on the sumergable unit! I plan to monitor the temp until tomorrow morning and see if the increase keeps happening with the water temp. If it is not quite where we want it to be, we will definitely be buying a 2nd one, and i am sure that will do the trick! But my opinion, yes the product works! Yes it is worth the money! You just need patients and let it do its job!

Our house has a small water heater and can't fill up a full 50 gallon tub.I bought this to see if it can heat up the tub for a full bath.It works very well, I'm just real careful about how I put it in there and not to touch any water while it's on.It'll heat a 50 gallon tub from room temperature to 106 degrees Fahrenheit in about 1 to 1.5 hours.So if I want to take a hot bath after a long day I'll just come home and fill the tub up as soon as I get home and then throw the heater in it and then I can take a bath a little while later.In some cases I'll take a shower and get clean in one bathroom and leave water in the tub in the other bathroom and reuse it a few times.

Not 3KW more like 1.5KW immersion heater. The heating element is about 10 ohms which will draw 12 amps at 120 VAC which works out to 1500 watts. Note the plug and most household circuits are only rated for 15 amps. If it were 3KW it would draw 25 amps which would be a problem. Lastly metal shield is not grounded.

We have a soaking tub outside with no plumbing. We have been half filling it with the hose, using cold well-water and then carrying 5 gallon buckets of hot water to make it comfortable enough to use. Today, I half filled it and plugged in this heater. After reading the reviews, I was expecting it to take several hours to heat. In a relatively short time, I could see steam rising, and the water was so hot, that when I completed the fill-up with the hose, it was still almost too hot. Love it, Love it, Love it. I only wish I had found this product sooner.

This immersion hater did the trick for me. Our bathroom hot water is only lukewarm. I have a back disease and a hot bath is really comforting. This product raised the full bathtub 30 degrees in 45 minutes and made my bath a great relief for my condition. Highly recommended.

This little heater is a work horse. We have a 240 gallon kiddie pool that we are using in the garage. The water gets a little too chilly for our liking, so we decided to give this a try. I put it in the pool in the morning and within 2 hours, the temp is up a few degrees. If I leave it in all day, by the night time, the temp is well up to 100. The pool feels so warm, it's like a hot tub! I highly recommend it!

Great product! Works exactly as described! Packaged great with lovely thank-you.Only “flaw” is that the instructions state NOT to test water using you hand, but video shows doing exactly that. Comes with thermometer to test temperature! Very happy with my purchase!

A single one of these, once you put it in an 8ft intex round easy-set pool, in about 3 days of constant heating, you will reach 92 deg F which is like a sauna. It is perfect for me because I have been tired of running a hose of hot water every so often as my boiler runs out of hot water too often. Then running pales of hot water in pots to the pool. It saves me so much work it is worth it. For that reason, I went ahead and bought a 2nd one so I can cut down on the heating times.
