Great replacements
These are nice replacements for the price.

Very useful
I find that the large tip like these are very easy to use but the material softens when the temperature gets up too high. No matter how careful you are, with the pressure you use while welding, they will bend severely. If you bend them back, after a couple of times they break off.I have been able to reduce that tendency by installing a 1/4-28 nut on the stem before installing the tip in the iron. This reduces the problem immensely as the nut spreads the torsion force over a longer distance and against the base of the iron. It also probably reduces the temperature slightly as wellThe larger flat surface is much easier to weld with and I use it to help fashion the weld a little it seems.I will continue to use these tips.

Works with Weller WLC soldering iron
Even tho my soldering iron isn't threaded these still do the trick for small hobby work on light plastic with a Weller soldering iron. Turned the heat up 100% and let it warm up sufficiently.My only recommendation is to find a safe holder while it's warming due to the iron's built in holder is to designed to fit this tip. Totally not the fault of this item so all good in my book.

Works great as replacement for Harbor Freight Plastic welder tip.
Had to chase the threads for it to fit my Harbor Freight Plastic welder, but now it works great and I have a spare. They are better made then the original Harbor Freight tip.

Almost Perfect - Incomplete Threads* (read)
Nice LARGE Size base & CHEAP !! So ???, however, my luck= both had incomplete cut threads, FORTUNATELY I have Tap-n-Die set so I Was able to Re-cut the threads so these would actually thread into my plastic welder…So as long as you CAN FIX things ?? Buy them, good starting point, just know they may not be ready “Out of the Box”… OR ? You may luck out ? It’s China so ??? Still no complaints! I’m used to “fixing” China stuff 👍
