BREO BOX Lifestyle Subscription Box

I ordered several subscription boxes, both monthly and quarterly. This was the only one that I thought was fantastic. The contents were great and so was the value. I highly recommend this subscription box.

First few boxes were great. Higher value items, presentation box and bag added to perceived value. As the subscription continued, items became more gimmicky, but I hung with it. Last box was no where near the value of what was paid. And there was no box. Odd so I sent in a question. I was told there absolutely should have been a box and to send pictures of what I received. Sent above picture and then told they were trying to deliver in a environmentally friendly way. Since I always repurposed the box, and they stated it should have come in a box, I’m not feeling great about quality control. I will save the $170 for a company that at least has its story straight. So disappointing.

According to the product description, "NEW subscribers will receive the Editor's Choice Box or Member's Favorites Box as their first box and then go on to the normal renewal schedule for the next renewal." Instead, I received the Fall 2020 box as my first box in March of 2021. Aside from a name brand mug, laptop cleaner, and egg timer, the rest of the items were strange knockoffs of very questionable quality. I'm still not sure what's innovative about a small bottle of soap? Even if I use the MSRPs listed in my product catalog, which are clearly pretty high for some of the items, the discount was around 25% which isn't stellar for a box of things I didn't necessarily want. Cancelled my subscription after the one box.

I've subscribed to GQ's Best Stuff Box for years. It only costs $50 and you receive between $250-$400 worth of merchandise each quarter. When I came across the Breo Box, I noticed the price was over THREE TIMES that of the GQ Best Stuff box - but it had all of these wonderful reviews (which now I am thinking are either fake or paid reviews), so I thought I would give it a whirl.The total RETAIL value of the 7 items in the box equaled $269 and is a real hodgepodge of items. This is what was included in the Summer 2020 box:(1) Clean Key(2) A disposable device that is supposed to help you stop snoring(3) A mini projector(4) Outdoor Picnic Blanket(5) A very tiny massage roller(6) A fitness band(7) A in-car cradle and charger for your smartphoneThe box was a bunch of junk that I totally paid TOO MUCH money on!! I will NEVER order from Breo Box again.

Honestly, these products are generally fun to open. Yes, they can be unexpected but I wouldn’t say they’re not for women. The fun part is not knowing what you’ll get, but they are generally great products.

I liked that it had a list of included items with descriptions without having to take everything out of the box. There did appear to be an interesting assortment of items several I'm actually interested in using.

I dont know how else to descibe this box. since my first box i've been loving it and ive gotten 3 boxes already. i love trying out new products that I wouldn't be buying on my own. Im discovering new things i didnt know i needed to make my life fancier and easier. I usually subscribe to beauty boxes and i love how refreshing it is to be receiving a tech and lifestyle box. I thought it was a bit pricier at first but once i got my first box it's definitely worth it. and they just ship it to you in this fancy box all organized inside that really makes you feel so special. I've kept all the boxes that it came with so far. it's a nice box to put things in or gift.

Be aware, you will not receive the current edition as your first box via Amazon. This fact is not obvious as it is not in the initial product description and it buried in the "How it works" section it is mentioned that Amazon subs start with an "editor's choice" box (look for it, it is there, hidden after the description stating you get the subscription box and the celebrity reviews...). I was told this is also due the to "incredible discount" given for the start of Amazon subscriptions.I started a subscription in Dec 2021 expecting to receive the Winter 2021 box, received the Fall 2020 box instead. The Fall 2020 box was disappointing to the recipient so we have ended the subscription.
