Simple accurate scale
This product is easy to read and has held up so far. My dogs have tipped it over and no issues. It does not tip when I stand on it. For me, a very good purchase.

Affordable, Progress-Tracking Scale
I think this scale exists in a good place between a basic, non-intelligent scale and a high-tech, app-based one. This is an affordable, simple scale with features that could be just enough to help you with your diet or weight control/maintenance.I've lost 60+ pounds in the past and keeping a log of your weight is a good motivator. In my case, I used a basic scale and just logged my daily weight on my phone. This scale is different from my basic scale as it remembers your initial weight and monitors your progress towards your goal, so no phone apps are needed. The green LED lights are used as a comforting progress bar towards your weight goal (whether it be higher or lower than your current weight). The lights provide feedback of how close you are to your weight goal in 10% increments. The large, oversized display provides more granular details, showing you to the tenth decimal your actual weight progress.PROS=====+ Includes 2 AA Batteries+ Large, easy-to-read display (3.2" x 1.6")+ The progress bar is a nice feature+ The scale can allow progress tracking for 4 users+ Unlike some digital scales, this one allows you to turn it on 2 different ways (Either stepping on and off to activate and then step on again to weight yourself or alternatively, just step on it like a conventional, non-digital scale).+ Even though it can remember 4 users, it's nice that if you don't want to track your weight, you can do that too but just stepping on it.+ Uses 4 sensors for weight measurement, one in each of the corners. This differs from other digital scales which might have fewer sensors.+ Measures and records your Body Mass Index (BMI) too though it doesn't use the progress bar to show your progress for this measurement.+ Can swap between pounds and kilograms+ Good value+ Easy-to-clean and strong, tempered glass top surface.CONS====- The LCD screen that shows your weight is not backlit. This is a minor issue since the display is large- There's no indicator on the display to alert you when the batteries are running low. The instructions also don't note how often the batteries should be changed. I would be concerned to lose my progress tracking if the batteries die. I'm also not sure if there is a time window to how quickly I need to remove old batteries and add new ones to maintain the progress data.- I wish the LCD display were dot matrix (individual pixels) rather than segmented (like most alarm clocks)Other Notes==========* Limit of 400 lb (181 kg)* Though the display is to the 0.1 of a pound or kg, the scale's accuracy is to the 0.2 lb or 0.1 kg* Glass surface is smooth, so it may be hazardous to use if your feet are wet* Keep the instructions. You will need them to add users or reset users. That process is not intuitive due to the limitations of the display and limited number of buttons

Impressive Weight tracking features, Large footprint
I'd venture to say that HealthOMeter is a name that's fairly familiar to many and one that comes to mind when thinking of scales. I've owned this brand in the past and noticed it's also the brand that most of my healthcare providers use. That being said, this particular scale by HealthOMeter is far from basic. First, note the size and materials. Because of the substantial glass top construction, it has a bit of heft to it which is a plus or negative depending on preference of placement and use. I do feel very secure stepping on it as there is no fear of tipping with it's large rubber feet, but it's footprint is a factor you may want to consider. I mention this as it depends on how you utilize your scale. If you intend to leave it out permanently, you may want to check the measurements ( 13.4 x 12.4 inches) to see if it works in the space you have planned for it. For me it's just too heavy and in need a gentle handing (it's glass after all) to be stashing it somewhere and taken out to a flat surface for weighing myself when needed. So finding a space that works best for you should be considered. Now on to the features this HealthOMeter scale has. It states that it is calibrated to serve persons up to 400 pounds. It has a large, easy to read display that is digital and reads out in increments of pounds and fractions of same. It's serves as a basic scale by just stepping on it without having to give it a tap with your foot. But the extras this HealthOMeter scale has is impressive. It has the capability to not only track your last weigh in, but it also can display your weight goal by displaying your progress, be it weight gain or weight loss, with an illuminated status bar and digital readout in poundage with small up or down arrow (please see attached photo.) This feature can serve up to four individual and is accessed by inputting your height, weight, and body weight goal using the key pad below the read out. It will also give you your BMI, body mass index. The only negative is that to use the scale in this way you need to reach down and press the select button every time you weigh yourself. I would have appreciated it if it could just be programmed to perform these weight tracking features without having to engage this function at every weigh in. For someone with limited mobility, such as difficulty with bending, this feature may be difficult to use. Other than the latter, it's a good looking, quality scale from a company that synonymous with personal and professional scales. Oh, one important thing to mention. HealthOMeter has placed a warning label on this scale stating it's not to be used with wet feet due to it's smooth glass surface. I think that's good advice.I've posted some photos and sincerely hope that they, along with my experience, helps you out a bit with your choice. I like the scale, just wish it had a smaller footprint and required less bending. It's size is also an issue in my smaller bathroom but it may be perfect for yours. Thank you!
