I am an advisor for a sorority and I wish someone had put this book in my hands back when I was an active. For any chapter that is not doing as well as they'd like in recruiting girls and is not sure where to start with fixing the problem, this book is for you. There isn't another book out there like it, either.------2011 UPDATE:After reading this book, I bought a copy for our chapter president, the recruitment chair, and I loaned my personal copy to every other advisor for the chapter. Pretty soon we were all speaking the same language regarding a recruiting plan and spent more energy working towards our common goal. I am proud to say that after approximately 4 years of concerted efforts and very hard working actives, the chapter went from being the smallest on campus struggling every fall recruitment to now recruiting more members in formal recruitment than any other sorority on campus. I can't say that buying or reading this book alone solved this cycle of low numbers, but it was definitely the start of the chapter moving in the right direction.

This book turned everything around for the Sorority chapter I've worked with as an alumnae advisor. We introduced a few concepts at a time, and now the book is read by new chapter leaders every year. In addition, many concepts translate very well to the professional environment these colleges women will soon be in!

Great book! Very important read for Membership advisors and participants/executives. Also relevant for Student Affairs professionals, but ideas translate well for many organizational situations. I really appreciated the emphasis on communicating a sorority's mission, purpose, vision and goals-- positive things that make a true impact and attract quality, engaged members for any organization. This is not a good book for those looking for superficial pointers and suggestions. It's about authenticity and connection between a potential new member and a sorority's active members. This book is for Greeks who are interested in making a positive mark in the world, beginning with membership activities. Truly a pioneering, relevant book. A great quick read to reference again and again.

This book was truly written by experts/sisters! They understand recruitment and lay out a plan that a sorority of any size can apply. I ordered another copy for my chapter and am going to suggest it to Nationals as well.*For those in smaller organizations: the book is written by women of larger organizations, and who are used to specific rules. Look at the tools in spite of this, they are awesome.

We read this before recruitment and ended up having the best recruitment class we've had in a long while. I would highly recommend this to sorority chapters who are looking to turn around their recruitment. It's a quick and easy read and very helpful!

no matter which house you are i this book shares positive ideas, that can help aid your chapter with recuitment. Somewhat basic for some girls, the book outlines alot of techniques used for recuitment. I would not recomended for girls going through recuitment trying to join a chapter. it is definiatly for tbose who are in love with building their chapters and making them stronger.

I'd love to give this one star so other sororities wouldn't read it, but it's too good to do that to. It's 5 star plus!

Great for anyone involved in Greek life. Easy read, but really helpful!
