This was supposed to be a “set”, only received one item.

The media could not be loaded.  The shape of the vessel is what I LOVE about it's design. The outer texture ensures a good grip, the wider flared rim is better to rest on fingers for pouring. Bowl shape for fast and easy cleaning.

I wanted to like this. The piece itself was beautiful. The texture and the color were everything I wanted.My initial order arrived with a crack in the side of the bowl. I only noticed it because water began to leak from it. I was offered a replacement and it was sent to me a week later.The replacement arrived with a cracked saucer. But the other pieces seemed fine. I attempted to brew a low temp white tea and the bowl cracked as soon as I poured water in to warm up the gaiwan.This was a beautiful piece when I opened it. But unfortunately I can’t even use this for it’s intended purpose; to make tea!

My first Gaiwan and I absolutely love it. If you want to try Gungfu brewing this an inexpensive way to try it. I use this Gaiwan everyday to brew my Dragonwell tea.

Very good gaiwan, of the 6 gaiwan that I own this one has the most consistent and easy pour. Plus holding a little bit more than 150 ml is great for when I want a little more than what I get out of my other gaiwan. The shape is good for avoiding heat while pouring too.
