LexarJump Drive S47 Range 128 GB USB Stick 3.1 Extra Slim Plug and Stay Design, LJDS47-128ABBK

I bought this Lexar 128gb usb stick to play music on my new sony av amplifier via its front usb socket, I formatted it to xfat & downloaded my entire music collection onto it from my laptop it wrote faster than my 64gb 3.0 good branded stick ever couldMaybe it's the fact this Lexar usb stick is 3.1 with a faster read speed as well but my music sounds a bit more open vocals are a bit clearer, mids v good, tops v nice, bass is bit tighter & kick drums are a bit more prominent over the bass guitar in the music when compared to the same music played from my 64gb usb stick with which I was already happy with the sound wiseOn this basis alone I feel must fully recommend this product, it also has a solid good build quality to it, but as with everything else in life only time will tell how long it keeps on working as well as it is right now, I hope that this products quality is consistent throughout the entire batch as I am impressed with the Lexar brand because of this one purchase alone

Sequential reads are very good in both USB 3.1 and 3.0 ports (3.0 reduces all write speeds by ~10%). The random write is 5-18x faster than Sandisk Ultra Fit (USB 3.0) drive or UHS-1 U3 microSD cards. High performer for its compact size which is similar to those logitech unifying receivers.

The only reason why I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is that it is missing the activity LED. I think earlier USB 3.0 versions of the drive had it but the 3.1 version doesnt and just has a plastic pip where you would expect the LED to be.Overall, fast enough to have an OS running on it and low profile enough to leave it plugged in. Gets slightly warm but no heat related issues so far. Very happy with the device and would still buy another and recommend even with the missing activity LED.

Wish there was a bigger size memory

Compared to a similar Samsung product, Lexar does not feel much faster, definitely feels cheaper, but costs more. The application is a linux OS, ext4 file system. i know, the tests are slightly better with Lexar.

It died within 1,5 year while it has rarely been used. Apparently this product doesn't come with the usual European warranty, so it's just a waste of money.

De ma part je suis très contente avec le produit. J'écris un document sûr différents ordinateurs (maison, travail et sur mon ordi portable). Donc la vitesse pour moi en tant que utilisatrice est adaptée parfaitement à mes besoins.J'aime ce produit par sa taille, minuscule. Il a été reconnu hyper rapidement par tous les ordinateurs et de plus il possède un petit logiciel pour mettre une mot de passe afin de bloquer les utilisateurs indésirables.
