Tons of useful tools, resources, and tips - so glad I bought this book!
Read the book in 2 days. The title is a little misleading as I think it understates the magnitude of the content in this book. As someone who has struggled with weight all my life, there were so many “a-ha” moments for me in this book It’s chalk full of useful and practical tools that’s at the heart of of the weight management journey. The sheer amount of research, tools, and resources alone is worth the price of the book.

Simple and doable recommendations to a healthier life
Excellent, well-written book teaching lifestyle changes designed from years of research and experience. The Six Factors are logical and understandable. The recommendations are easy to understand and see yourself achieving. Using good common sense and scientifically based evidence, you are guided to gently redirect any problem behaviors into healthier AND attainable behaviors with wonderful results.

Finally! A Book That Actually Builds A Weight Loss Program Around My Life
Unlike so much of the clutter out there today, this book really did seem to focus on me from the beginning. It didn't just give me a weight loss plan I could choose to follow or not. It offered so many different options and resources and ideas to create something new--something that's actually manageable and realistic for my crazy schedule/life. What's really cool (and quite novel actually) is the 5min quiz (super simple) that assigns you 'factors' and serve as a guide for building a plan. Definitely worth reading!!

Changing My Life for the Better
The personalized approach of this book has helped me identify trigger points to my bad eating, and has helped me manage them. For the first time, I have easy, practical tools that will finally take me off the roller coaster of weight gain and loss. Knowing this approach is scientifically validated gives me real hope. Easy and enjoyable healthy lifestyle
I enjoyed reading this book for too many reasons.It is educational, motivational and encouraging for people with weight loss struggles and also for those who want to cultivate and improve a healthy lifestyle.I love it because it acknowledges different patterns of lose-weight struggles and it nurtures a positive Mindset, offering clear, reasonable guidelines to create your own fulfilling healthy style. I have recognized many guidelines that worked wonderfully for me and had a positive impact on my health.

Safe and well-balanced program for the public.
Excellent weight loss and health management. I am a RDN and think this is a great program for people. I struggle with exercise and this has helped me greatly.

I cannot begin to tell you how much this book "spoke" to me. In addition to addressing my lifelong struggle with weight loss, Dr. Kushner offers hope and understanding and a personalized approach for my personality and lifestyle. I am excited about beginning to understand myself and my new approach to lifestyle weight loss. Good resource, poor kindle formatting
This book is easy to read with lots of useful info. Unfortunately, the kindle edition format is a bit screwed up in places, especially any charts or tables.
