These kick mats work awesome! The main reason I got them was to protect the back of the front seats from the kids kicking them and causing damage. I previously had a 2007 Honda Civic, their kicking caused the back fabric to come undone. With the recently purchased 2011 Honda Odyssey, I promptly ordered these and installed them to protect the seats. I did read the reviews first, two main complains are that the bottom elastic strap is not big enough to go around the seats, and the netting pockets are not strong enough to hold much and will fall apart after getting fatigue from kid use. I kept both of these faults in mind when I installed the kick mats.The lower elastic strap is tight, but if you go very slowly, it will slide over an Odyssey seat and fit quite snugly at that.I looked at the net pockets, for what they are, they are quite useful. Because I have young kids (2-5 years old) in the car, I decided to turn my kick mats inside out and install them with the net pockets (and logo) to the inside of the back of the seats. The result is a perfect black kick mat without any netting for the kids to grab and pull on. My wife wanted to keep the net pockets out to use them for storage, so I installed one the right way for a couple weeks so she could observe that we would be better served turning them both inside out. The kids will grab at the netting, pull, use it to try to pull themselves up, etc... If the kids were older (6+), I would install them the right way and use the pockets to hold paper and other very light items. Remember this is a thin vinyl mat that has only one connection point at the headrests, you cannot put anything of weight into these pockets and expect them to hold. A few sheets of paper and a couple crayons for the kids to draw with on long trips is perfect for these pockets. I would not put a bottle of water or a package of wet ones in the pockets as the 2nd photo shows unless the bottle and the wet ones container were empty. Installing them inside out also solves the issue with the pockets coming apart due to wear.For the primary goal of the kick mats, it gets 5 stars. Just remember, the net pockets are bonus, if you don't want them, turn the mat inside out before you install. Take your time installing the elastic strap, if it is tight, go slowly!

I decided to give the Britax kick mats a try. I had been using the Brica ones, which work fine, but was interested in the pocket the Britax ones have. I had been keeping hand wipes and small toys in the door pockets of my Audi Q5 and they were getting full. These kick mats fit my car sets very well.What I like the best is that the material is tough and slippery. I can wipe dirt off them with a baby wipe, if it gets too messy. Very easy clean up. The pockets are not easy to kick my 2yr or 4yr old (4yr old is very tall). I don't think the pockets could handle very heavy items, nor would I suggest it in the event of a car accident. I've been keeping simple things in them; a full package of wipes ( http://www.amazon.com/Yes-To-Inc-Carrots-Wipes/dp/B005F3HMVC/ref=sr_1_fkmr2_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1368997256&sr=8-2-fkmr2&keywords=say+yes+to+carrot+wipes ) and very small lightweight toys. It's really handy when the kids want to bring a small toy in the car with them, but I won't allow it out of the car for fear of losing it. The kids have a safe spot to put their toy and it doesn't fall on the floor or get lost in a crevice somewhere.I have not had any problems with pocket tears.

Want to save the backs of your seats from being scuffed by your little ones? Get these. They are an affordable option to keeping your car clean and secure from child related wear and tear. These have pockets in them to store toys, books or other items. The installation literally takes 30 seconds. The ONLY issue I could see, and it didn't effect me, if you have wider than average driver/passenger seats and/or integrated armrests (armrests attached to the seats), these might give you an issue. They have an bottom elastic band that slips over your seat all the way to the bottom, and the top secures with a velcro strap. If you have wide seats or armrests, the bottom elastic band may not slip over the width of the seats/armrest.

Basic solution to the problem of little footprints on the back of your front seats. Made of a slick, raincoat type material. The top secures with an adjustable strap; the bottom has an elastic band which you slide over the top of the seat before securing the top. The elastic bands are visible at the back seam of the front seats but don't bother me when sitting. There is a little bit of sagging/drooping at the top, especially if you put anything in the pockets, but it doesn't really bother me. Note that if you have kids in car seats they won't be able to reach the pockets anyway to grab stuff (unless you have a tiny backseat). They fit well enough on my 2015 Chevy Equinox and keep my black fabric seats from looking like a mess!

I bought these to cover the seat backs in a new car with black interior, and also to provide a bit of storage space to get my kids junk out of the center of the backseat. These arrived and were installed immediately. The material is sturdy and the pockets appear to be able to handle holding some iPods, pencils, some GI Joes, a small trade paperback book, and a few other kids things. These also are flush against the back seat with no folding or gaping at the top where they hook around the head rests. The elastic bands remain a bit visible in the front seat, but that's really no big deal for me--you can't feel them or anything. They also went down over the seats very nicely. I'm really happy with this purchase and found it to be the best deal for 2 covers. I can imagine that if you are trying to fit bulky baby toys in these they would not work, but it would be fine for those folks still in the baby phase needing to store a couple of diapers, a small pack of wipes, and maybe a snack or two.

Se nota la calidad, es práctico, cumple su función de proteger la parte trasera de los asientos,sin embargo quedo un poco chico para la dimensión de mi camioneta , aumentaría unos 5 cm de cada lado. El elástico también quedo un poco justo. Lo recomendaría para asientos no muy grandes.

I had been on the look out for kick mats for this winter knowing my daughter would likely destroy the back of the seats this year. I read reviews of this one and saw that customers with Odysseys liked them, so I got them as well. They arrived just in time - the day of our first snow fall. Mats were a breeze to install, fitting perfectly over the van seats (including those handles) without interfering with driver and passenger comfort, and have held up well over the last month of abuse. And at this price for two, I would replace them in a heartbeat. They don't shift around, and the pockets are within easy reach for the kids to store their stuff. Great product!

Bought these to protect the leather seats of our Subaru Forester and they are excellent value for money. You get two in the pack, they are good quality, fit easily and sit flush. They attach at the top with a buckle similar to a car seat or lifejacket and are elasticated at the bottom, with the only drawback being that the elastic is not hidden from the front seats (hence 4 starts), but despite protruding slightly from the front seat this isn't felt by the driver/passenger so is purely a cosmetic complaint, and knowing this I would still buy them. Finally, this issue may not be a problem in all cars, I guess it depends on the design of your seats.

Works as expected. Holding up quite well after 2 years of use.
