Just what the kitchen sink needed
Our traditional kitchen sink drain guard broke and we needed a replacement. My wife bought a plastic replacement (I hated it and chucked it a day or two later). When that one failed, I saw this on Amazon and the low cost made it worth a try. It catches what needs to be caught and tossed outside of the drain and allows the rest through. It is easy clean, goes into your sink like a charm and its only downside is not - the suction cups are feisty little buggers and hard to get out. Of course, I do not think of that as a problem with "Easy to Remove" but difficult to dislodge because it is MEANT to stay in place despite all the things that happen and get put into the sink.

Did not catch my hair well
It was easy to clean and remove but did not work to well and wouldn’t always stay in place. I have pretty thick hair and shed like a dog and a lot of my hair would still slip under it and clog the drain. My boyfriend also does road commission and all the dirt would build up on it. I just ended up taking it out of the shower.

Saving Our Drain
With two long haired girls in the house, drain clogs were becoming a problem. We have a stand up shower with funky drain that was difficult to protect. We've had the hardest time finding something to help. I'm so glad I found these things, they've been working like a charm. The only issue we've had is the suction cups will feel secure, but then seem to keep slipping. As long as I secure them before each shower use, they hold up during that time and protect the drain. Overall, I'm very pleased with these and would recommend them. Definitely cheaper than a plumber!

Not Good Drainage
Not impressed. Out of the box, it looked fine. Plastic seemed like good quality. Had extra suction cups. It wouldn't stick to our shower floor. Our shower is small square tiles that have a non stick roughness to them. It did stick to the smooth surface of the bathtub though. The description said water would flow easily. We stuck it to the bathtub, turned on the water, the water after awhile started to 'puddle up' around the drain catcher. When soap and shampoo where added, an even bigger puddle was around the drain. Drain Catcher did NOT drain very well at all. We threw it away and will research a better drain. Catcher to purchase.

Great suction power and really catch hair.
I was skeptical of these. Didn't think they would catch my hair, but they do. The suction power is great, but it makes it alittle hard to get them up. The only problem I had was the suction cups come out of the holes when you take them up and they're hard to put back in.

Not what you want for catching hair
I have a lot of head hair and it always ends up clogging drains. I got this drain cover hoping it would catch the hair. It is nice looking, but does not fully suction to the shower floor. The suction cups do, but the rest of the edges let the hair slip under. I stood in the shower and watched to make sure. Also, after a week or so the suction cups became warped and kept coming loose. Sad to say I have gotten a different drain cover now that cost a lot more but does catch the hair.

Great for the price
The suction cups were a little hard to install and when you remove the cover you have to be careful not to just hank it off or the suction cups will come off the drain cover. You just have to take the second to lift the corners up and use your nail to lift the suction cup up, it's not a big deal. Definitely worth the price.

Sadly, did not work well in my tub or kitchen sinks
I wanted to love these, but they never fit right over my bathtub drain, even after I tried another reviewer’s tip to turn it to different angles (like a Diamond). An entire side would lose its connection with the tub surface, and the hair I was hoping to catch went down the drain anyway. I ended up using it in my stainless steel kitchen sink drain upside down and without the suction cups for when I peel hard boiled eggs, but it’s not great at that job either! Silicone is just a little too thick I think. Going back to the metal screen-type drain strainers from the dollar store!
