First, do not misread the package. The word "Soft" is referring to the drying process and not the consistency of the fruit. I would not refer to this fruit as "Soft."Packaging:When I received the bag, it was almost flat (see my photos). The bag on the product page looked much fuller. The mango pieces are vacuumed sealed inside of a clear bag and did not take up much room in the outer bag (see photo with arrow as that is a photo of inside the bag). The outer bag can be closed as a zip lock bag. I think the packaging design can be seen as deceptive. There's enough room to fit two sleeves of fruit.Product:The mango pieces are nicely sliced into thin long pieces. You have to take the entire product out of the clear bag because they are stuck together. They are easy to pull apart, then you can then put the remaining pieces back in the clear bag. The outer bag can be zip locked to keep the remaining pieces from drying out.Again, this product is NOT SOFT to chew. They will give your jaw muscles some exercise. However, they are not totally hard or dry. They have some moisture to them, just a little. They are very sweet and taste just like a mango. I can only eat one piece at a time. Nice to have a slice with your toast and coffee in the morning.I am giving this product a 4 for the taste but I feel the product picture was deceptive as the bag looks much fuller on the product page.

I chose this brand of mango over Whole Food's 365 mango because it was described as soft, and I wasn't disappointed. It was a pleasure to chew and is also the sweetest dried mango I’ve ever tasted. I hate when mango is cut thinly and as a result is tough and flavorless. However, what made it less than five stars for me was the texture. It had a crystalline texture only on the surface that is similar to dried fruit when sugar is added. I checked the ingredients to make sure, and I was surprised and pleased to see sugar wasn’t added. Although, I wasn’t a fan of the coating, for lack of a better word, I enjoyed every other aspect of this product.

I have recently discovered dried mangoes and they tastes fantastic. I have been buying different brands to see which one I like best. I came across this one because it's oy ingredient is dried mango. But upon opening the package, I noticed sugar crystals on the mangoes. I took a bite and immediately knew that there is added sugar in these dried mangoes. They are so much more sweeter that 365 and peeled. Although they are still taste delicious, I would prefer dried mangoes without added sugar as mangoes already have a high sugar content. So if you're looking for an extra sweet snack, thses are for you.

These are delicious! However, when I opened the package, the dried mango slices themselves are sealed a separate plastic package within, and I found it quite difficult to take out the mangoes. They were all stuck together and I had to use quite a bit of effort to peel of a piece. But oh man, these are SO GOOD. I almost ate an entire bag in one sitting. Flavorful and without any added sugar, this is the best tasting all natural dried mango I’ve tried! Only downside is how stuck together the pieces were; be prepared to put in some effort.

I’ve tried many brands of dried mango in search of the perfect one, and this one isn’t it. It is VERY sweet, to the point where I felt skeptical about the ingredients list on the packaging only saying “mango”. I read the fine print on this page and found out it actually does have added sugar...so why isn’t that listed in the ingredients? If you like a sweet treat, this stuff is great, but if you’re like me and enjoy your dried mango tangy and without added sugar, skip this.

Let me start by saying I’m paralyzed on my non dominant left side. The outside bag was difficult for ME to open just using my right hand and teeth. The inside plastic bag needed a scissor, so, my aide had to open that for me. After finally reaching the Mango, it took me some effort to pull it out of the plastic bag. To my surprise, the dried slices were pretty big. As long as an average sized mango, and about a1/4” thick. Practically impossible to peel off of the pile. By now my mouth was watering. After biting into it., I found it soft, but very “tough” to bite through and to chew. It was fairly tasty., but nothing close to a real Mango. I managed to finish it, not impressed at all though. I decided to try another piece. Hoping for a better experience. The second slice was harder to separate and after one bite I tossed it all away. 2nd slice was the same as the 1st slice, but, much sweeter. Too sweet. That one must have had added sugar. By now I was fed up and threw it all away. I will look for canned mango next. I don’t recommend this product at all. I REALLY wanted to like this!! So disappointed.

Dried dragon fruit just the way I remember. Absolutely delicious. My only issue is with packaging. The entire order of dragon fruit is stuck together and doesn’t come apart very easily.
