Best option for the average homeowner with no professional installation skills
A quick warning before you install this: the LED light is VERY bright. It comes pre-charged already and when I accidentally passed over the motion sensor, I nearly blinded myself so be careful. So as a standard non-handyman homeowner, this was the perfect product. It comes with exactly everything you need: screws, solar panel and light with motion sensor. The install was simple. Ideally, you will want to have a power drill to screw in the flood light to make the install quicker. The hardest part was figuring out where to place the solar panel to collect sunlight.Luckily, the flood light has a fairly long length of cable so you can place it pretty much anywhere. The floodlight also has certain range functions: low, medium, and high so you can reduce the amount of false alarms in case of a passing car or something. So my primary use is for the backyard. It has been very convenient for family gatherings and also mowing the lawn later in the day where I normally could not. Again, if you aren't a natural handyman and know how to run wires, this is perfect you. Simple, easy install and it uses solar power. Hopefully they come out with a another version with a camera so I can see what's going on in my yard as well.

Two duds in a row
On the plus side, it's easy to install, and the lights are bright. I bought one, charged it up, and installed it.However, it would not go off. It just stayed on, regardless of all the test conditions I put it through.I sent it back for a replacement, which was easy enough. Unfortunately, the 2nd one didn't work either. Same problem: it would not go off.I'm a former engineer and currently a Professional Handyman, so I know how to troubleshoot electrical. But I didn't want to take it apart to figure it out (and void the warranty.)Probably something wrong with the "on" timer. So, I sent the 2nd one back and gave up. Wasted too much time on something that should have been simple.

Better than expected
Had bad luck with Solar lighting in the past, but, this surpassed expectations. Bright light with multiple heads and adjustments. 15 foot cable to allow mounting of the solar panel in direct sunlight while having the light where it is needed. Solar panel also had an adjustable base. Liked it enough to order a second for the other side of the house.

Very bright with excellent quality solar cell and long life batteries.
I mounted two of these on and in my shed. Mounting both was very easy and the remote solar cell made it so that I could collect sunlight from outside the shed for use inside the shed. The outside light lights up much of my yard and the deck without trouble. The light inside lights every corner of the shed, as well as up to the peak of the 15' roof. Instructions say to leave the light off and allow it to charge for 3 days before use. I didn't feel like waiting so I purchased extra batteries for both and charged them in a charger so I had fresh, fully charged batteries at the time of installation. Very pleased with these lights.

Its Bright
Liked the ease of set up, solar panel was a little tricky as to which way was is up. (as to angling towards the sun) I think I mounted it upside down to angle and mount. But when I tested the light, it was bright and area coverage was good. The test mode really helps, for angling the PIR for triggering distance. All in All I like it.

Doesn’t come on
I haven’t been able to make it come on or detect motion unless it’s in the “on” position?? What setting do I leave it on to sense motion? Also the switch is different from what is pictured so I’m not sure what to put it on. I’m very disappointed because I’ve already mounted it on my house

So far so good
Just got installed. Instructions say to charge for 3 days.. I did that and am just setting the thing up. Then Amazon wants a review already. Seems to be moderately bright. Not too bright as the light seems to be warm and not too harsh. The motion sensor works as I have set it up. Just built a new porch and have set it to come on just as someone is about to begin climbing the steps. It works just like that. The street is only 30 to 35 feet away and cars drive by all the time so I think the extended setting would have the light on and off all night. We will see what my neighbors say about the brightness. It's a mobile home park and close proximity. No HOA but we must get along with one another too. I really like having a light that I don't have to pay the local electric company to keep on. I would like to do the entire house solar but the $ involved make it hardly worth it. Would take the rest of my life(or more) to break even as I am already near 70 y.o. Anyway, I am pleased so far. It's pays to do your due diligence and research before making the purchase for sure. I have also made purchases at *bay and other places that turned into nightmares. Read your reviews, ask questions and compare is the way to make a purchase without having tears about it later.
